Wonderful Experience at Pahalage Boutique!
Pahalage Boutique is such a lovely place! The staff are very good and friendly, always welcoming guests with warm smiles. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere feels cozy and relaxing. Everything is well organized and beautifully maintained. Highly recommend Pahalage Boutique for anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable experience. I’ll definitely visit again!

The place is already worn out and the staff is really very arrogant and unfriendly.
Very Dirty place. I would like to give details for the benefit of people thinking of booking this place.
No hot water in the toilet
The bathroom fittings are broken and are rusted as seen in the pictures.
Towels were neither clean nor fresh.
There was a fridge in the room, but it was an ornamental one as it was not working at all.
No TV in the room
The water flow was soo low that it was difficult to get a shower
Doors and pans were in a dilipted condition.
The pool shown in the pictures was not a swimming pool but a pond with tiles on the surface. See pictures
There was no manager, or any responsible staff present there, and the entire work was entrusted to three waiters who were uncultured, rude, uncivilized, and their behaviour towards the guests was as if the guests were staying at their mercy without paying money to the hotel.
There is no intercom in the room. No room service. Can't call the staff in any situation as there is no one at the reception. God knows why anyone would pay for staying at a place like this. Lot more to express

We had an amazing stop over at Pahalage Boutique Villas. Rooms were large, pool was beautiful and dinner was my husbands favourite meal of the whole trip!
We stayed for 1 night, the hotel arranged our safari and they were great in every aspect.

Very quiet and serene location after Yala. The outdoor gardens are beautiful and a nice clean pool to cool off in. The dinner and breakfast were tasty. The staff is awesome. The rooms are spacious but do have a musty smell, so if you are asthmatic, be aware, however, the staff prepared a special tea for us to clear the chest. As I said , the hosts are amazing. The WiFi is great in the front by dining area but a bit iffy in the room.

I loved this place, fairly close to Yala National Park with large spacious rooms, big swimming pool and super attentive friendly staff. I felt looked after during my staff. They happily catered for my dietary requirements at breakfast, both gluten and nut free to ensure i was happy. Recommend if you're going on safari as a pit stop.

We were warmly welcomed by the owner of the hotel and there was also a delicious welcome drink. The room was very clean with a very well-functioning air conditioning system and a refrigerator. The beds were comfortable and had good bed linen. The bathroom had obviously been renovated not so long ago, everything was very clean here too, nothing to complain about in the shower area either. They put a router in our room, which was great. Food is always very important to us, but we had nothing to complain about here either. Everything was well seasoned and freshly prepared, the fish was really incredibly tender. There was definitely far too much food for breakfast, what was put on the table could not possibly be eaten by two people 😊. We remember the coffee very well, it was definitely the best we drank in 19 days in Sri Lanka. We were very well looked after and had the feeling that everyone was doing everything to make us feel very comfortable and that was exactly how it was.

For most of the people it's just gonna be a layover to the national park, so there is not much around. But the hotel offers a nice pool, spacious rooms and friendly staff.

If u wish to visit katharagama. This is the best place i ever seen to stay. Calm place. Foreign foods, swimming pool available
