Amazing gem. Great place to stay. The best value. Perfect staff. Great food. Very friendly polite and helpful. True peace and quiet. No need to go anywhere just sit and relax, watch the birds and do the safari trip one day which is also excellent.

Absolutely wonderful place. Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Very peaceful location, about 1 km from main road. Rooms are very comfy and clean. Tea tray , excellent WiFi . Pool towels provided. Excellent pool, very clean with comfy sun loungers. Food here is delicious, had most meals here every day as could not fault quantity and quality. All staff very polite and helpful Highly recommend this place.

only 5 mins far from the main street by car, the resort is small but lovely.
the room is big and clean.
you can book jeep to Yala National Park for Safari tour (about 4 hour tour, recommended to go from 2pm-6pm), and the jeep will pick up you at the resort.

The room is large and natural.

Small and friendly. Nice room with comfy bed and pillows and wi-fi works. Small bathroom with walk in shower . Water not very hot. .Restaurant small but staff were very helpful and food choice was sufficient and tasty. Breakfast was very good. Nicely located for the National Park.Nice swimming pool available if you want to cool off.

It’s not bad. I stayed here after visiting Yala. It’s not expensive. You can also order food here for dinner. But when going to Yala, remember to change the rupees in advance and give it to the driver in cash

I stayed at this hotel during my visit to Yala national park and Kataragama, and it was just perfect. It's in a peaceful area, great for relaxing after a busy day. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. There's plenty of space, and the sitting area in the room is perfect for relaxing or watching TV. The bathroom is also quite large. The swimming pool is very clean and feels amazing after a long safari. It's a great way to cool down and relax. The food is delicious, especially the Sri Lankan dishes. The cook is really talented and made some great meals.The hotel owner, Mr. Sugath, is very friendly and helpful. The staff are also very nice and always ready to help. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay after visiting Yala or Kataragama. The prices are very reasonable, and the experience is fantastic.

We stayed here in order to do a half day safari with leopard-eye safaris (which was excellent by the way). The bedroom was excellent - good air conditioning, spacious, and quite modern. I took a can of fly-spray to get the mosquitos which was good - because of the high ceilings. The staff were great - and very friendly and couldn't do enough to be helpful - five stars for excellent service. The meals were great - and we thought well presented and much better than we expected. Very good value, and excellent service. Thanks to the staff. I wish I had left a bigger tip. Cons: 1. They cheaped-out on the chlorine for the pool. You couldn't see the bottom because it was cloudy, and the pool had hundreds of water-boatman in it. That's unappealing and although we entered the pool, my wife was squeamish about them, and wouldn't put her head in the water - they need to get this fixed as the pool is a major attraction, and it soured things a little for us. 2. We had a full shopping bag of washing they arranged to be done for us. It wasn't cheap - about GBP pounds 15. Later we found that the washer person had burned one of my shirts on the sleeve (melted it). God only knows how, but that was disappointing as it wasn't a cheap shirt. So... enquire to them and ask if the pool is free of water-boatman, and whether you can see the bottom of the pool (ie it's clear and hence clean), and then definitely stay here, but don't get your laundry done here!!!
