Stayed here for one night, had a really pleasant stay here. Owner really friendly and helpful. Room big and clean with soap and toilet roll provided. Very reasonable price for the room. Central location but very quiet away from the main street. Owner helped us with a Tuk tuk the morning we were leaving. Would definitely stay here again. Thankyou

Clean room with cot & bed, but worst service. No toiletries, no TV or free coffee & tea. They served 3 slices of bread and a thin omelette for breakfast. When asked for another omelette, they charged us for that which is totally unacceptable. Never use this place unless you’re in desperation

Anil was very kind and helpfull. He helped us to find new accomodation, because his house was full. He organized our trip to Yala park. He helped us very because it was holiday here and every hotels were full. The best in Tissamaharama! Thank you

Nice accommodation a little outside of the town center of Tissamaharama. Centrally located, the owner speaks good English and is helpful in planning tours (safari in Yala National Park). An English breakfast is prepared in the morning (toast, butter, jam, fruit and tea). The rooms are simply but functionally furnished. Would book it again at any time.

We planned this trip at the last moment so the places we would normally stay was booked, so we had to stay at Tissa resort and I would say I was a bit dissapointed.
The washroom showers are not working at all . Low pressure water coming out of taps , can't even wash the body properly . And they have mentioned about having hot water but no, the heaters are not even working .
Washrooms were not that clean too.
The beds were okay that was the only good thing about the rooms .
I would not go there again even if I had no other place .
We also had less freedom because the owner always comes out and watch us when we go out .

Great budget hotel
I stayed at this hotel for two nights and it was very clean and comfortable. The owner and his family are very kind and really nice people. Also great location and budget friendly, I highly recommend this hotel!

I planned on staying for just a night when I did the Yala Park tour but ended up staying another night. I had a pleasant stay and the owners are very helpful. Room is spacious, clean, and with own toilet and shower. The property is in a very quiet neighborhood so you can definitely relax.

Really a nice place to stay. We booked a room for one nigh but I enjoyed very much. And the owner is very friendly. Worth for the price...
