cassendra Hotel in Kandy

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Cassendra Hotel. Very clean a lovely welcoming staff. Special thanks to the head chef and Isuru who took great care of me in the restaurant.

We stayed very good in this hotel. Room was clean and beautiful Staff very kind, special thanks to chef Selva, Subas, Isuru, Saranga People very available and efficient Very good breakfast Sri Lanka and European style For sure recommended

It was definitely the best stay in Sri Lanka. Every staff member was so nice and friendly. I had a small problem with the hair dryer, but they quickly came and arranged another one. Breakfast was very flexible and I was able to try lots of Sri Lankan local food. The room was very clean and cozy, and the bed was super huge — I slept well every night. I stayed for three nights but still didn’t want to leave. The owner was so kind, and after coming back to the hotel we often talked a lot. That time was truly unforgettable for me. Every single night when I returned, I felt relieved and at home. Bathroom amenities were minimal, so you should bring your own conditioner and toothbrush. However, the body soap smelled nice with coconuts. The hotel is a little bit far from the city, and the steep uphill walk can be a little challenging. Especially, returning in bad weather was a bit hard. But since the city is so hectic, being here is much better for enjoying a calm and peaceful moment. I highly recommend this hotel — it was the best part of my time in Sri Lanka.

The Hotel Cassandra was a beautiful hotel with amazing staff. The manager is very friendly and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to provide us with an outdoor dining experience on the new patio. Chef Selvakumar showed us his talents by making us the most delicious meals. It’s on a hill so you have lovely views as well. The rooms are very comfortable and modern with everything you need.

Well located, good views from the room. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was big and had a lot of light. Huge bed and really comfortable. We were on our honeymoon and they gave us special treatment for no cost. Excellent experience!!!

I had a truly lovely stay at this property. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. My room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained throughout my visit. The breakfast was delicious. Overall, a fantastic experience that made me feel right at home. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to friends and family!

This hotel is tucked away up a hillside in Kandy with a very steep access road. I was glad I had a professional driver. I saw a few tourists trying to go up and down on tuk tuks and didn't envy them The staff are very friendly though not so speak fluent English, also very keen to please. The room was the smallest one I had in Sri Lanka but comfortable and 4 star. The decide and layout were relaxing and well thought through. The bed was comfortable. The shower has plentiful hot water. The air conditioner worked. The lighting was good for reading. The view from the balcony was fascinating, looking into other hotel bars, a school, back gardens etc. The hotel cook was invisible but a jewel, producing perfectly cooked vegetables and flavoured food. The menu was small but well done. I didn't see a bar. It's not suitable for wheelchairs or people who can't manage stairs. Good for a brief stay with transport, not central to the city.

Simply beautiful.. The staff are super friendly, hotel spotless.. Plus incredible views. Dinner and breakfast just perfect. A short taxi ride to Kandy center and the temple.
