Very friendly owner and directly at the Beach. Nice to relax or to go for a snorkeling tour.
Very cozy and charming place.
If we come back to Trincomalee we will stay again in Dyke Rest.

Very good service. Very good food. Kadira, the man friday will help you with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Back-packers love the place. The beach is also not too crowded compared to other parts of the bay. Many small guest houses in the vicinity and few restaurants. Lovely views.

This place is by far the best. Absolutely brillaint. You open the back door to a beautiful beach. In the night the owner will help you set up a fire. Play some music and soack in the fresh air.

Room not available despite our reservation. Total lack of solution with the owner who kindly sent us elsewhere. I definitely recommend avoiding this establishment.

The owners are incredibly kind and helpful, and the hotel is located on the most beautiful beach ever! Swimming was simply wonderful; a highlight is the fantastic reef for snorkeling. Breakfast costs extra, but it's delicious, and you have a great view of the ocean. Unfortunately, everything is so run down that I can't give it more than 3 stars. The rooms are small, musty, have hardly any power outlets, and not even a window. The towels were horribly dirty. The breakfast tables and the loungers on the beach are completely broken and uncomfortable. I think with a little investment, they could really create a little paradise here again!

Very kind owner. Clean beach with cristal clear water. Not many tourists only friendly fishermen around. The rooms are simple with good AC (Ask for room nr.2). He didn't even want to take any money for letting us stay an entire afternoon, while waiting for the bus.

Amazing location directly facing the Dutch Bay beach. Beach was not crowded and is the perfect spot for a swim and good view. Very friendly and helpful host who tried his best to make our stay safe and comfortable. Affordable room rates and a must visit place in Trinco.

Kadira ans staff was excelent hotel mamagment should apecially thank them if not for them ita just an ordinary hotel, need some renovations things are in need of little maintance

This place was right ON the beach. They have two balcony rooms that are great. Host is awesome and really accommodating! I also met several other travelers that were great.
