This price is quite reasonable for Switzerland. The room was decent, the bathroom was spacious, and towels, bath towels, and slippers were provided. The bed was very comfortable; the pillows and blankets were soft and comfortable, which I really liked. They even gave us a complimentary glass of orange juice. There was free coffee and hot water in the common areas, and the breakfast was also good—an authentic Western breakfast.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was tucked into a quiet area but very close to the city center and attractions. Food options weren’t that great(pricey) but there were many options nearby. Overall would definitely recommend the hotel.

Highly recommend this hotel for its convenience and thoughtful design. The staff were very helpful, and the breakfast at the café next door was a lovely touch.

We loved the hotel which had been recommended to us by my Swiss brother-in-law. The room was beautiful and well equipped, and the public areas as well as the room were spotless. The hotel is located in the Niederdorf district of Zürich which is the old part of the town with narrow cobblestone streets, excellent shops, restaurants and bars. However, on both of the nights we stayed in the hotel we were woken up at 5:30am by the sounds of trash pick-up, street cleaning, food deliveries etc all of which kept on going on throughout the early morning. Because of this we would not stay here again.

The room had a noisy ac unit that would buzz loudly intermittently through the night. The hallways also had a bad smell on our floor.

Excellent location, convenient for major sightseeing, shopping and transportation. Staff were very warm and helpful. Coop grocery right around the corner. Train station is walking distance, but difficult if carrying luggage. Suggest using the free hotel shuttle.

This hotel is in a very good place to see the old town and sample excellent restaurants. The stuff in the hotel is very helpful in everything. But in a four star hotel one would like having a cafe in the mornin in room, not going three levels down and lifting up thr cofr into thr room. Btw. one has to put onto the floor one cup to be able to start the lift with the security card. There are only two small glasses in the bathroom for drinking anything..For ice one has to go to the concierge who serves with enthusiasm when not busy with check in and out. In summary that hotel would worth max 3 star level anywhere else.
