The location is perfect. In the middle of The city close to the main train station, busses and trams. The room is very small but we were only staying one night so was fine. I’d say you could get more for value for money but really is ok. Was clean and suitable.

This hotel was terrible in every way. It doesn't offer free breakfast as advertised, there's no safe, the rooms are extremely small, the service is awful, and there's a bar downstairs that stays open until late at night, making it nearly impossible to sleep. Furthermore, a change I made to my reservation was treated as a cancellation, and I was double-charged, which I'm still trying to resolve with the hotel. They won't even let you speak to the manager to get an explanation; you've sent emails and messages, and they haven't responded at all. In short, I had a terrible experience at this awful little hotel. I absolutely do not recommend it; you can find much better options at better prices.

Had a 5 day stay here from 28th July 2025 to 1st August 2025. Location is perfect, bang in the centre, train station a minute walk away. Surrounded by lovely bars, restaurants, and shops. Arrived early and was allowed to store our case in the hotel whilst our room was getting ready. Free water and fruit are provided from hotel for guests in the bar area. The room itself was basic, but we didn't spend much time in it! Beds were very comfy and powerful shower. Clean towels provided dialy and beds made every day. We had a balcony and beautiful river view. Staff friendly. Check out was 12! Would stay again. Thanks

Was it the most luxurious hotel? No. But if you need a place to stay that is clean, great location and good value then this is the place. I’m not sure of his name but the man at reception which also is used as a cafe/bar was extremely friendly and welcoming. We got there early and asked to leave our bags but were told we could check in early at no extra cost which was a nice start. The bathroom was a great size and the bed was comfortable. I would use this hotel again if I ever came to Zurich again

The welcome is not the best and more than a reception we can talk about the counter of a bar (in fact the room from which you enter the hotel is a bar from 7 to 22). The room is small, with the essentials, but lacks a minibar, and the television, small, is positioned in a sort of niche and can only be seen from one side of the bed. Avoid breakfast. The staff is not very attentive to requests and not very interested in guests. I almost had the feeling of being unwelcome.

Be warned… you will pay the same price but it’s a game of chance that you’ll get a half decent room. We have stayed twice, the first time I was impressed and happy but the second trip I was completely appalled. Room 41 is absolutely horrendous with exposed plaster and mould in the bathroom and unpainted walls in the bedroom. Due to the state of the bathroom, we asked for an alternative room. I couldn’t bear to even think about taking my shoes off to walk in that bathroom (see photos). They moved us to their last remaining room (room 34) which was an improvement. I cannot believe this hotel is STILL putting people in unfinished and mouldy rooms as I read a review from 2022 complaining of this exact room and there being a leak/flooding. It’s a DISGRACE for the price you pay to stay. The photos should be enough to make you think before booking here… unless the hotel does something about the prices at booking or at the very least to be transparent with customers BEFORE arrival!!! 😡

We were only staying for one night and we were looking for a bed and a bathroom in a good location and that's what we got. There were not any low budget hotels near the train station available so we ended up here. The reservation said the check in was 12:00 but when we got there they told us the room would not be available until 2:00pm. If we had known this we would have stayed a little longer at the airport lounge to which we had access. The room was small with no air conditioning and we had a nice view of the river. We could open the windows to cool down the room and they did a good job of keeping the noise from the street out. The bathroom was small and bare minimum with a small shower, toilet, and sink that were functional. The TV was the size of a postage stamp and not functional in any way. No breakfast service. There is a small bar on the ground floor which we didn't use but they did provide us with some ice. Bottom line the only thing this hotel has going is the location but there are better options for the $200+ we paid for one night. The rating is based on a lack of anything, the relatively high cost, and location.

Bit pricier than we would normally go for, but conveniently located and they had air conditioning which was good as it was 35C plus. The breakfast at CHF14 didn’t seem a great deal so we opted out. Staff was friendly and hotel was kid friendly which was good as we had four!

This is a budget hotel with many positives. Our room was very large, had an excellent fridge, airconditioning, a large and spotlessly clean shower and a lovely view over the river. The location was excellent, a short walk to the main Zurich station, Lake Zurich and water boats with a tram station right outside. Bars and restaurants abound nearby and the hotel's own bar had a good vibe. On the negative side, it was weird that the hotel reception was also a busy bar which was noisy at night. Don't forget to lock your door. If you wanted to open the window it would have been difficult to sleep with music and transport but for the location, price and room I think it would be hard to beat.
