Widder Restaurant is totally amazing!
Excellent service and breath-taking interior
The 6-dish menu was delicious and included excellent convinced
Reservation in advance strongly recommended as few tables are available and demand is high
The chef also came at the end to introduce himself
It was also very kind of them to doggy bag the remaining bread for us
For the Closest parking you need to walk five minutes

Widder Restaurant was the best dining experience we’ve had in Switzerland. Simply amazing.

Great food from the appetisers, through sumptuous mains and excellent desserts. The apple one was particularly delicious.

There is an extra menu where you can add in some of the chef’s specialties. The wagu beef was worth adding and simply melted in our mouth.

They use beautiful photos for the rooms on American Express travel website, but the actual rooms are very different. In the photo they show a full bathroom with a shower, and the size of the room is falsely advertised. After seeing the room they also refused to let me get a refund and I was stuck with the falsely advertised room 😭

After bringing this to their attention their solution was to downgrade me an even smaller room 😂

I've only visited the bar and restaurant, not the hotel, and both are excellent. I would currently rate their cocktails the best in Zurich and they have a huge collection of whiskey as well as other spirits and wines. The atmosphere at the bar is great, often with some live music on the weekend. If you are looking for a calm evening with great cocktails, a classy atmosphere and good service in Zurich's old-town, this is the place to go.

A very cozy and pleasant hotel in the very center of Zurich. Very friendly and helpful staff. The only negative: numerous stairs of old buildings. But this is perfectly compensated by the staff's willingness to help.
