We are pleased with our stay, room comfort and sleep quality was outstanding. There were two top quality comforters on a super king bed - this was the first time in our decades of traveling experience that we had something like this, like we have in our own home. The service is top quality - professional and crisp but not servile. It is as it should be.

The hotel looks aesthetically nice and clean with very good location .
Services are under 5 star hotel level, for example , room service( in dining) only available till 10:30 pm, amenities in the room are very limited , no kettle , no coffee machine, no ironing tools , we have to ask for each single item. No gym available within the hotel building .
Customer services are below average , it was not welcoming atmosphere , especially on our arrival to a level can be described as rudeness .
After 3 nights we observed variance of level of customer service from rude to extremely friendly staff. Definitely the hotel management needs to invest on training staff especially at reception who are the first encounter to the customers on communication skills and costumer services .
In terms of transparency, and communication, during checking in, they did not declare any extra charges will be applied for cleaning measures in the room due to COVID , although it wasn’t expensive( about 10 CHF per night) , it should part for the cleaning standards for a 5 star hotel, and it would be better if that information was delivered on our checking in procedure .
We needed to do Covid PCR test for traveling requirements, we have approached the concierge for that enquiry , unfortunately concierge wasn’t helpful as suppose to be, they didn’t suggest best option from costumer perspective. Luckily, based on our own search, we were able to do the test through pharmacy, next door to the hotel with reasonable price.

BEWARE. RUDE staff and SCAM. I arrived late at night and requested an iron and ironing board as I needed to iron my shirt in time for my early morning meeting. I was told they don't provide this due to health and safety issues but they could iron my shirt for CHF and deliver it to me at 7.15am. Not only is it outrageous that this so called high quality hotel should not provide you an iron but I couldn't even use their expensive service as it would be too late for my meeting. The staff were very rude and not helpful in the slightest. Avoid this hotel at all costs

I have stayed at the Savoy regularly for work since last summer. I am always impressed with the consistently high level of service. The staff are always friendly, polite, and professional. The rooms are immaculately clean, and the food is excellent. The location is also ideal: just a 2 minute walk from the lake, and right on the main shopping street. Whether you are in Zurich for work, or for leisure, you will not be disappointed with Savoy.

I don't know why people think this is a bad hotel. Even though it is expensive it is worth the price. The concierge are very nice and helpful my room was beautiful and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows are cozy and very white and clean. The food is great and well prepared. There is a personal car that will take you anywhere you like free of charge and you can walk anywhere from the hotel.

This a a really lovely hotel with great food and very comfortable beds. The staff are very efficient and extremely friendly. They will go out of their way to do anything that could possibly improve your day. The location is the best - right in the heart of the old town and right by a tram stop. So convenient if you arrive to Zurich by train. The breakfast was also great - poached eggs that AREN'T overcooked! In my opinion, this is the best hotel in Zurich.

Classical European hotel, the rooms are classic and have the European classic feel.
The beds are extremely comfortable. The location of the hotel is great right in the center of old town and close to all the shops. The staff was nice, friendly and accommodating.
Would definitely recommend this hotel, only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star, is one evening the staff at the restaurant wasn’t so pleasant with us cause we sat down for dinner fairly late and clearly they wanted us out as soon as possible, and that’s because Moorgan wasn’t there that evening, if he’s there then you are in great hands as he is the best at the Savoy Bar. Except for that incident it’s a great hotel

A bit old and in need of renovation. The cloth hanging sling in my room was dysfunctional and full with mold. My vanity kit had obviously been reused (the package of the cotton paper inside has already been opened once I slid the box open). Its the small little things that can easily be improved. The staff were really nice and friendly and super eager to help though. I would say the quality I got was expensive for the price I paid.

Breakfast is really nice, service is top, it just can do with a bit of refresh in general, not a fun of the carpets either.

Place is a bit old fashioned. Room was spacious but has thin walls/floor. Car park was not available.
