The Omnia in Zermatt

The designer has no official "star", but refers to a category of hotels class "luxury". The hotel is situated in the centre of Zermatt, on a cliff towering 45 metres above the resort. Passing through the tunnel in the rock, visitors ascend by Elevator to the hotel lobby to a height of 1649,40 meters above sea level. Most of the furniture and furnishings of the hotel custom hotel is included into group of design hotels. On the interior of the hotel was created by such famous designers and architects like Ali Tayar, Mies van der Rohe, Raymond Loewy, Vladimir Kagan and Eero Saarinen. All rooms have balconies and a breathtaking view of the mountain Rothorn, Stockhorn, Gornergrat, Monte Rosa or the Matterhorn.
