I would especially like to mention Kiri at the front desk, who is always incredibly kind and attentive. She takes care of every request with such warmth and professionalism that it really makes you feel at home.
I highly recommend this hotel. The spa area, the pool, and the saunas are a special treat after a long day of skiing. It is the perfect way to relax and recover.
The breakfast is also excellent — very complete and delicious. What I particularly appreciate is how personally they treat guests and how attentive they are to any special requests you might have.
I am very much looking forward to staying at Christiania again whenever I can take a couple of days off and return to Zermatt.
What truly touched us was how incredibly baby-friendly the hotel is. They prepared the most beautiful wooden cot in our room and even provided a tiny baby bathrobe — such thoughtful and refined details. Traveling with a baby can be challenging, but here it felt effortless and comfortable.
Our room had breathtaking views over the Matterhorn — waking up to that iconic mountain right in front of us was unforgettable. The natural light, the alpine atmosphere, and the scenery created such a magical setting. Their terrace with panoramic views is also stunning — the perfect place to slow down, take it all in, and simply enjoy Zermatt.
Everything about our stay felt harmonious: comfort, design, service, and location. We left feeling relaxed, grateful, and already dreaming about coming back.
The breakfast buffet was excellent and abundant, and dinner was very enjoyable.
I would like to highlight two aspects that could be enhanced. The water, chocolates, and fruit provided on arrival were much appreciated. Considering the room rate, replacing the water each day would be a welcome gesture and is a service often offered by comparable properties.
The second, and more important, point relates to the bathroom. The layout felt rather compact, and stepping into and out of the bathtub to use the hand shower seemed potentially unsafe. An upgrade in this area would be highly beneficial.
Overall, I valued the stay and hope these observations are received in the constructive spirit in which they are intended.
