The huge Matterhorn seemed just outside my balcony room. The iconic view changed form before sunrise to after sunset. The restaurant served good meals with nice staff. The front desk is also helpful and saved our time to plan our stay in Zermatt.

Not far from the train station, the room and breakfast room face the Matterhorn directly, the hotel facilities are good, the gym, swimming pool, outdoor pool, spa are complete, there is also ski equipment rental in the basement, 15% discount for guests

This hotel is a treasure hotel I recently found in Switzerland!! The location of the hotel is super good. We didn't book a balcony room originally, but we paid extra to book one, but it feels super worth the price! With a balcony room, you can directly see the Matterhorn in the sun. The hotel staff is also very good and enthusiastic! The hotel's supporting facilities are great, with indoor/outdoor hot springs that can be used after 1pm. The hotel car picks up and drops off! You can make an appointment to be dropped off at the train station

Very nice staff in the breakfast and balcony service. It is very nice that hotel provides a hiking backpack to use for free. The location is also great.

Let's talk about the advantages first: a great view of the Matterhorn, you can see it from the terrace, and you can also see it when you have breakfast in the restaurant, the view is very good. The room is about 10 minutes' walk from the train station, and it's still a bit hard to drag the suitcase, but there is a free taxi when you check out and go to the station~
The other feeling is that the room is so small... There are few types of breakfast, especially after staying at sunstar, the difference in breakfast is a bit obvious. In addition, the main door is a bit difficult to find, you have to go up a few stairs and walk through a corridor to get there. I was so tired when I arrived in Zermatt that day, and it was painful to carry the luggage up the stairs.
In short, the recommendation index is three and a half stars.

The location is very good, the balcony directly overlooks the Matterhorn, as does the restaurant. Although the facilities are a bit old and dated, the accommodation is still very comfortable, and the bed is very comfortable. In addition, there is a cemetery next to the hotel, which is fine for those who mind, but it seems that Westerners don't care, and it is in the center of the town.

I stayed on the first floor with a balcony, the environment was very good. But the view was not as beautiful as the one upstairs. The breakfast was delicious, and it was especially delicious to have breakfast facing the Matterhorn.

Lovely stay! Got the matterhorn view suite and it was so beautiful! The receptionist was also very helpful with guiding us with what we can do at Zermatt!

However, need to take note that their reception will only be there till 10pm. It’s actually stated but I didn’t read it so when I arrived Zermatt train station at 11pm, I panicked a little. We flag down the taxi at my own cost, 18chf for 3 people and luggages, they dont provide free taxi after 10pm. Also, the entrance door will be closed/locked after 10pm, we rang the bell and the door opened and they left the key with a letter on the counter for the check in.

The breakfast place is also overlooking the Matterhorn and it’s so pretty. Stayed for only 1 night but really enjoyed my stay there!
