was nice having a celebratory cake and as much as you can eat ice cream. (which was ice cold 🤣 despite the heat) The fireworks which were key to the night were breathtaking and a good set up for safety

The hotel's location and the rooms/bungalows are very nice. However, the stay was marred by a very dirty beach. While trash is collected, it's buried in a hole in the sand

The buffet was quite extensive and we got to enjoy a fresh sea food corner and the kids loved this especially the octopus. But a sweet treat was at the dessert corner

In all, was a good night with good entertainment (and the bubbly for sure ensured the tossing to the new year was done in style)

Really good value for money, everything is good. Watch out for crows at breakfast, they always come to snatch my food. The waiters are also very nnice, responsible and conscientious. Love the gym!!

We opted for the less crowded hotel for our new year cross over and for sure it didn't disappoint us

The range of activities available at the resort include kayaking, paddle boarding, table tennis, pool… even daily beach volleyball games with fellow guests and hotel staff! The food at the hotel deserves a special mention

It perfectly sits on the kiwengwa beach there is nothing better than that. The food the service the peaceful vibe of the whole resort is just addictive. I honestly didn’t felt like going back on my last day.

We loved absolutely everything about this resort. It was nice and quiet, there wasn’t many people, which was good because there was always free seats at the beach, and near the pool. The employees are extremely friendly

We arrived here on the 9th of march after our flights had been cancelled due to the war , we arrived at 10pm at night after sourcing emergancy accomodation and we were greeted by MIKE , he has been nothing but amazing thru out our stay , today the 16th of march again out flights were delayed and mike went out his way to accomodate our stay checking in on myself and my party , daily he found us made...

Just for note this area of Zanzibar is tidal so check the notice board for timings to get the most of out of the beach and any water sports. We tried paddle boarding and kayaking

The value of our stay was worth every cent! The resort is calm during the day and they offer entertainment certain evenings to keep you busy which we thought is really creative! There is a pool with a lot of tanning beds and the resort provides you with a fresh towel every day

We have been resting for 10 days already, the hotel staff is super, always clean, they clean every day, sunbeds for the hotel are free and guarded on the beach, everything is very cool

It was very fun and amazing , and enjoyed a lot from the view culture and all thing from that place but the best part was the bombom part on a yacht I never experienced that thing and made me proud a lot and also plan for the next trip on kendwa beach

The hotel itself is very run-down, and the toilet doesn't work. There are tons of locals begging for money on the street. We had to take a detour to get to the beach, but maybe there was another way out

The hotel has a wonderful location, direct access to one of Zanzibar's best beaches, Kendwa! The white sand is up to 200 meters wide! The breakfast is simple but delicious!

Mocco beach villa is about 1hr30 from the airport and cost apx50$ or if you booked from booking. The places is amazing with wonderful view and clear water for swimming

Paje by Night is a very nice place indeed, close to the beachside. The staff gives their best, to make this feeling home, away from home. However, WiFi is unreliable to say the least

! The beach is only a couple of minutes away, but there is also a very nice pool to relax by…! The food served is of very good quality, but above all very tasty! Most importantly, all the staff is beyond fantastic! From the cleaners, the waiters to the reception staff and the owners, everyone has been an absolute star to make sure our stay was great! The location is great, second to the beach and nice and quiet when you need it, beautiful designed with palm trees for shadow and a big pool kept cool where the kids can play. The staff is so nice and the food good too

We loved it! A place full of charm and quirkyness, perfect for people who don’t want shiny marble and inpersonal perfection. Right on top of the turqoise beach, overlooking the sea. Quiet sunbed area without vendors

From the restaurant there is a direct descent into the ocean. Beach towels are provided, changed if necessary

I really enjoyed lying on the deck and watching the water rising, the best part for me was swimming right off the stairs of the hotel (once the water is up). The walk on the beach was also very pleasant :)

The location is absolutely perfect. You are just steps from the wonderful beach with gorgeous sunsets and a clear blue sea

The hotel is wonderful, the rooms are large and well-maintained. There are rooms in the garden next to the pool, and there are rooms with ocean views. The view from them is stunning. Breakfasts are ordinary, quite decent

We spent a month at Langi Langi in Nov/December 2024. We had a fantastic time and this was due largely to the wonderful staff. Pauline on reception was the first person we met, on reception and she was so friendly

Located directly on the beach, offers possibility of long walks on the sandy coast when tide is low and is close to beautiful sand stripes where to take a swim in light green waters

Would come back to Africa just for another week at Zanzibari. Kids who walked me through at check-in was perfect. Pleasant guy super helpful, everyone and everything was spot on! Can’t go wrong with this property.

Beautiful location and wonderful scenery. The menu is a bit wanting but the have great staff. The beach suffers from some pollution but still looks good

Beach unfortunately suffers a bit from plastic pollution, but the staff do try and keep on top of this clearing it up. All beds have mosquito nets which are essential. Food is good and reasonably priced

I really enjoyed my stay at Baraka Beach Bungalows, very well located in the middle of Nungwi beach. The room is spacious, clean, and well furnished

The location of this hotel is great. It is right on the beach front and the hotel offers sun beds for its guests. There are many, many bars and restaurants just a short walk away along the beach

The bed and towels were both stained which made the place feel very unclean. The food in the restaurant is okay but there was many better options around

I highly recommend the hotel, affordable price, the room I took was spacious with king bed, very clean and white sheets, shower room was so big as well, cold and hot water, I got a small fridge, AC and ventilation, the breakfast is quiet good, omletes fruits and juice

Room was smaller than we expected but it has what you need. Staff very friendly and attentive Hassan has been extremely helpful and always greets us with a hello and smile

My stay at Malaika Beach resort was absolutely delightful! From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional

The food was ok, considering the price point. There's not really a beach, but the view of the lake is nice. It's far away from town so you need a car to get anywhere else

Fanciest hotel I stayed in Tanzania. I got a great room with a jacuzzi tub (that I didn't have time to use sadly). There was a wedding happening so they upgraded me so it would be less noisy

View over Indian Ocean was magnificent, but no beach was disappointing.

I think that the hotel can do better buy giving written offers for the spa to the groups. I really wanted to do it but there were no prices and I didn't feel like haggling for an experience that is supposed to relax me

However, the entertainment was unique and african and it's worth the shot. At the entrance of the hotel there is a tour agency representative. We will definitely use them next time. The prices were quite reasonable

Every evening we had some form of entertainment. Apparently all the other hotels in the area have the same entertainment. Now, the music was a bit too loud for my taste and was clashing with the dinner experience

Qambani is the perfect place to relax, if you literally want to do nothing, except laze by the pool, or read a book! We absolutely loved the resort, from the staff, to the rooms, it was perfect

We did some day trips in Zanzibar and the hotel arranged them for us. While the hotel itself and its facilities are top notch, it is the staff that makes this place special

I especially appreciate the overall aesthetic of the decor looking like it was cobbled together from shipwrecks and driftwood

All of these things would have earned Qambani 5 stars by themselves, but I really wish I could give them 6 stars. They went above and beyond for us. We were caught up in the troubles from the recent election

The only working we didn’t like, was the staff barging into our rooms unannounced in the evening to spray for mosquitos. It was very invasive and just not necessary. Do it during room cleaning or change over or something
