The food is great (many local dishes) with good portion sizes, cocktails are delicious and the beach is beautiful

The food was excellent, from the wonderful breakfast to lunch, teatime, and dinner! The resort has an ecological approach and supports the local community by using only local products, and the staff comes from Zanzibar

The biggest advantage is having a separate cottage! In addition: - very friendly and helpful owners and staff, - excellent service, - intimate and safe place right next to an uncrowded beach, - great location, allowing for miles of walks along the beaches in both directions, - delicious breakfasts and dinners, - absolutely clean, free of mosquitoes and other insects, - quiet, - many tours available...

The adjacent beach had warm, clear water and if you didn't swim too far out, you could swim without the risk of sea urchins. Delicious, fresh breakfast buffet. A large selection of fresh fruit and various treats

Such a lovely place to stay 😍 it gave me the vibes I was after. right on the beach , palm trees , beautiful big pool facing the ocean, delicious food however breakfast could have beeb better

The beach was amazing with white sand and blue sea. Not much sea **** and fab snorkelling

The location is at Matenwe in Zanzibar. A bit difficult to get ro but an absolute treasure. It's a retreat place but more like a resort. Directly opposite the beach, great pool, fine location and overall great staff

Our stay at Jafferji Beach Retreat was absolutely exceptional from beginning to end. Munis, the manager, truly made all the difference. He was outstanding, always helpful, incredibly kind, and full of great advice

The drinks, though adequate, seemed slightly diluted. Additionally, our room had a noticeable moldy smell, and both the room and beach towels were of poor quality, detracting from the otherwise enjoyable stay

large rooms simply furnished. the mattresses in room 109 are as hard as concrete, but this is not the case in all rooms. the beach is great, clean and you can swim all day. sometimes noise from the hotel next door

This was an excellent spot to stay, quiet beach, really lovely sized room. Staff were really attentive without being in the way. Also try the gnocchi from the restaurant it was exceptional!

We had booked a horrible hotel in Nungwi, which risked destroying our honeymoon. We started searching around and found this beautiful boutique hotel "Milele Beach Resort"

There is also a pool, and a lot of sunbeds with traditional parasols/sun covers. You can order drinks and lunch to the sunbeds

There is music one day each week, where a local band plays music and invites the guests to dance. It was very funny, and even Lisa and her family joined the dance because her birthday coincided with the music day

One of the things that really gave the place it’s soul was the cozy and relaxed atmosphere, where locals also stop by for a beer. It created an authentic and warm vibe that you rarely experience

Lovely place, the balcony in the main area where you can watch the sea and zanzibar life is so nice! It is a very charming place. There is a very helpful and friendly staff. They try everything to make you happy

The hotel has a good location for swimming in low tide (clean beach) or high tide (water comes up to the steps of the deck so it is beautiful)

Good place for you to stay central to shops and restaurants and beach activities are great the place is a bit run down with faulty aircon units No TV's and No cettels in rooms on the down side in the surrounding area the security /local beach Boys will swarm woman and girls if not accompanied by men and drugs are freely available But I would come again to stay

We had electricity at the campsite, lighting, nice seating area with a view of the sea where we ate breakfast prepared by John. The hot water is under repairs but wasn’t needed as it is nice and warm

As we were the only ones at the resort we had the place to ourselves. The place is a bit rundown could do with some attention but this did not detract from our stay

The toilets are flush toilets which is great. The staff were all helpful and welcoming. We would have stayed longer if we didn’t have to move on

Fabulous! This hotel celebrates simplicity to perfection. The attention to detail and care for guests is amazing. All the amazing staff really care about the guests and it shows. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

On our arrival day, the hotel honoured local boys by handing out football kits, which was deeply touching. The hotel is also involved in several projects such as beach cleaning and assisting at the local kindergarten

Special kudos to Raphael, the assistant manager, who is often seen tidying up the beach with local residents and playing football with them on Mondays

Simple interior but we were only in the room for sleeping and it had good nets thst was prepared each night. Did not see one single mosquito inside. Bedsheets clean but with a few permanent stains

Only awareness point is that the door lock is very simple: from outside you lock with a small padlock (but there is a safe in the room)

We spent 4 lovely nights in Bahari Pori. Francesco, the owner, is indeed very nice and makes you feel at home. He gave us a lift to Pangani and arranged our bus back to Tanga. The view over the mangrove is beautiful

Came to Zanzibar with friends and picked this hotel. The ambiance is fantastic, there's a faint floral scent when you enter, and the breakfast is delicious. It's really nice, definitely a resort-level hotel.

Very good, all rooms have private pools and sea views. The rooms are large, the hotel has various vehicles, there are motorboats one kilometer away, and it takes 20 minutes to see dolphins.

Every day a new diner menue that was top quality. We also have done excursions arranged with the hotel (snorkelling, Matemwe) and massage. The room service is really good and they make you feel at home

I was escorted to my room by the front desk agent and LOVED the huge room. It had its own private poool! Very spacious. Rashid the General Manager had great communication

The resort offers many relaxation areas, and the sound of the ocean accompanies you throughout the day. A major highlight is the bar, situated right by the ocean, where we were treated to excellent drinks
