Union Beach Bungalow in Nungwi

Incredible bad food, very small portions, it's absolutely not worth the price. When complaining they just laughed. Don't go there, it's absolutely not recommended.

Great location, pricing isn't bad. Rooms, beds and bedding were all moldy however. After requesting bedding multiple times, I got some after nearly eight hours and they were black with mold. The day after resulted in similar issues. Bar personnel were not helpful nor friendly. Breakfast was OK.
Great if you're with an even number of people and are in need of a place to stay for not too much money, but the bedding and beds smell like a biohazard.

Lovely room right on the beach sands. We also got it a bit cheaper just asking. The room was really clean and nice. Bathroom had hot shower. The breakfast was fine, omelet, bread and fruits.
Edit. Revisit in 2020 January, place is still the same but not in a good way. Seems like they have not done anything to maintain the place so everything is falling apart, broken or just plain dirty. Room had some thermites but toilet was full of them and the wood dust they drop was literally everywhere. Toilet door didnt close, Water from shower barely came out so that it was I possible to shower well, ac didnt work although there was two unit on the wall, mosquito net had huge holes in it, pillows smelled bad, the room smelled moldy/damp as well. Bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned for ages etc list goes on.. Would not recommend until they fix the place up. The manager seemed really honestly sorry about all these issues when we complained but there was just too many things to fix right away and we left after staying only one night. We asked to get our money back but we only got 15$ back from the price of 50$ (115,000tzs) We paid. Used to be nice a place and we actually were looking forward staying there again, so sad...
