Louis' Runway View Hotel in Nai Yang

We stayed at this hotel for one night and we couldn’t recommend it more.

When we arrived we asked if we could have a room that overlooked the runway and the staff were excellent in letting us have that room. We then spent the night watching the planes take off and land which was perfect.

The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious and clean.

If we are back we would definitely stay here again.

Room 202 is user-unfriendly.

I was unable to open the room door with the key for a few times from check-in to check-out. I needed the receptionist to open the door for me.

I was disppointed that I was not allocated a room with plane-flying views.

Fortunately, the receptionist on duty at night brought me to the water storage level below the rooftop that has a window and a chair to climb up to and shoot pictures of aircraft lining up to depart and take off from the runway.

Louis' Runway View Hotel is of walking distance from both international and domestic terminals of Phuket Airport.

7-11 convenience store is located next door where I bought cheap breakfast from to eat in the room.

Straight to the airport. Reliable shuttle service from and to the airport. Very friendly staff.

Booked Louis Runway View Hotel at the last minute after a late flight and it was a total win — open reception, spotless room, and friendly smiles even past midnight. Only a few minutes’ walk from Phuket Airport, which makes it a lifesaver when you land late or have an early flight. Comfortable bed, strong air-con, and surprisingly quiet given the location.

As the name goes, a perfect stay for aviation enthusiasts who love to spot planes.

My wife booked this stay of choice for my surprise birthday trip when she overheard me mentioning it as my bucket list to go for planes spotting. She booked and liaised with Thomas who gladly advised her on the perfect room for the trip. On our arrival, the staff knew we have the option to pick the room and we gladly took up Thomas’ advice. It was perfect with the view of runway from the balcony.

The room is basic but equipped with the essentials that is all matters - king bed, large bathroom, free wifi. One caveat is there is no lift for those who are wondering. For us, it isn’t an issue. Otherwise, a perfect stay for transit (very near to the airport) or like me who is on a plane spotting trip.

We went to two nearby eateries and had one of the best Thai food of the trip. Both are really homey and cooked to order - ครัวกลางซอยสนามบิน and 168 House Cafe. Both are on the same alley beside the 7 Eleven (in Thailand must do).

Overall, we have a very pleasant stay with Louis’ Runway View Hotel. We will not hesitate to recommend to our friends and for me, I will be back definitely for more plane spotting in another season.

Stayed on the way into Phuket. Arrived at 1am. Very close to the airport. Airport shuttle. Very clean, large rooms with hot showers. Clean comfortable beds and towels. Friendly helpful staff. Seven eleven next door open 24 hours. No elevator.

This is a pretty boutique hotel close to Mai Khao Beach . It looks like a family-run business. The owners are extremely friendly and so are their staff , I loved the bed room and the comfortable bed . It made for a comfortable stay . The hotel offers a shuttle pick up service on request . This was my second stay and I would return again .
