Kokotel Phuket Nai Yang Beach in Nai Yang

I have to give an honest review of this shocking hotel experience. One day around 1 PM, my child and I were taking a nap in the room with the curtains drawn and lights off. Suddenly, the room door was violently flung open from the outside, and the lights were turned on. A middle-aged Thai woman and a middle-aged white man burst in. I immediately woke up and got out of bed, completely stunned, not knowing what was happening. I thought we were being robbed or kidnapped. After a few seconds, the two intruders closed the door and left. I quickly put on some clothes, comforted my child, and went out to the hallway to investigate. The woman explained that the front desk had given them the wrong key card. I was utterly shocked and furious. I immediately returned to the room to call the front desk to complain and condemn such an outrageous blunder. A lady at the front desk listened and said she would check right away. About 10 minutes later, a male front desk staff member knocked on the door to apologize, admitting that he had given out the wrong key card and it was his responsibility. I was still fuming and continued to scold him. Although he was sincere in his apology and even sent fruit to express his regret, I still can't just pretend it never happened. It's unbelievable that the front desk could make such a basic mistake, failing to guarantee even the most basic safety and privacy of guests!

This hotel is absolutely terrible. The rooms are tiny, either smelling bad or full of mosquitoes. The rooftop pool? You can imagine it's not very clean. Breakfast was practically non-existent. The staff were rude and overcharged us! Honestly, I have no idea how this place gets good reviews!
