Airport Sky Resort in Nai Yang

Let me start by saying that we stayed at this hotel two years ago and had a very good experience. We booked again in 2025: for 10 nights in December and then another 7 nights with a short break. The location is convenient – ​​it's within walking distance from the airport and the beach, right past the evening market and a number of excellent shops offering everything you need. Cleaning is daily, towels are changed, but water wasn't always delivered. There's a large refrigerator, a kettle, and glasses. The room is a large separate bungalow. The pool is clean, and you can swim even at night. But starting on day 4, things started to go wrong – our house was attacked from the outside by about 200 large ants (not the small food ants). They ran in a chain outside the building, gathered near the corners of the windows, and tried to get into the house. We had to move the table on the veranda, and then I couldn't even sit on the veranda like everyone else did; we ate there and enjoyed the views of the pool in the evening. The door to the house was mounted on a hinged hinge—on both sides—and this created huge cracks, which were infested with ants. The receptionist brought some spray and sprayed the house inside and out. It was all in the evening, and the smell was persistent and unpleasant. Even the air conditioner couldn't handle it, and we had to breathe it all in. In the morning, the same thing happened. We sprayed everything again. When we returned from the beach, we opened the room and saw over 30 ants inside near the windows, and also near the door. My daughter was screaming, and they were telling me to spray again, and I should smell this smell for the second night in a row? And the same thing happened again in the morning for the third day in a row. I bought some large, wide tape and sealed both windows from the inside, where the ants were most likely to crawl. And then back to the beach. By evening, there was a chain of ants on three walls of our house, at least 200 of them again. My daughter is crying, scared, and says she won't be spending the night in this house. I ask reception to change houses—we still have three nights left and there are empty houses, I can see that. They simply refuse. We spent the remaining days also fighting ants daily, only not with the spray. I heated water in a kettle and poured boiling water on the walls and windowsills. This was truly more effective and odorless. Knowing that we would soon be returning to this hotel for another seven nights, and with an evening flight, I asked for a free stay until 6:00 PM as compensation for living with the ants for so many days. They refused. So, when we came for the second time, from January 19 to 26, 2026, we were accommodated in the house next door. Before I even took off my shoes, I saw about 100 tiny food ants on the threshold of the street. We immediately sprayed them with spray. Three hours after we moved in (our things were still in our suitcases and our food was in the refrigerator), larger ants swarmed through the windows into our house, and a chain of these creatures formed outside again. For the next seven days, I fought them myself with boiling water, and the windows were taped shut again on the first evening. Once again, I couldn't sit on the veranda; these creatures were crawling from the bushes along a metal pole and further onto the house, sometimes even onto clothes that were drying. And by the way, during our first move-in, while swimming in the pool, I unexpectedly saw a green snake nearby, calmly drinking from the pool. My phone was very far away, so I won't take a photo of it, but I was quite scared. I think it was a grass snake. On our second visit, we were told it had been caught and thrown out. The neighbors also had ants, but they were just a few, not in droves. They didn't sneak into the room or ruin evenings on the veranda. So it's probably just luck...

The water pressure wasn't very good, and the water had a slight odor upon arrival.

Pool was very nice

Clean, basic room room for an overnight stay after arriving on a long flight late at night. Arrived early hours of the morning, rang the bell and the lady got up from sleeping to show me to my room. Had air con, tv, water on arrival, double bed and shower.
It was basic but that’s all I needed - somewhere to sleep for the night.

Even though I stayed only one night, I really enjoyed this beautiful resort surrounded by nature. The place is peaceful and immersed in greenery, perfect for relaxing. The swimming pool was clean, as well as the room and the bathroom. The staff were very kind and welcoming.
In about 40 minutes on foot, along an easy and pleasant road, you can reach the sea. About halfway there, there is also a local market where you can find food, fresh fruit and vegetables, and clothes. I would gladly come back for a longer stay.

Was very good for price, easy to check in... Let us leave the bags there when we checked out, 420 shop literally next door!

Loved this place, so charming. Rooms aren’t incredible but you get what you pay for. The pool was great to relax in after a long flight.
