Maesa Greenery Hill (SHA Certified) in Mae Rim

A cozy and peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Far enough from the main city, but accessible to the main road out from the Mae Sa valley to the main city. There are fruits and food stalls just beside the resort, and it is near to several attractions, including the Maesa Waterfall, a Karen village, a Mini Bee Farm, ATV etc. Getting Grab here may be slightly challenging, but the resort owner and her brother would gladly help you get around if they are available (coz they may be busy running their quaint cafe - very nice coffee!). The resort itself may not have much of the modern amenities e.g. tv but it has sufficient (wifi is available) - but that's the whole point of being away from civilization for a while right? All in all, a cozy, family friendly resort with lots of nature and local culture to enjoy :)

Love this place so much! So peaceful calm and quiet with running waterfall in the back of the hotel right outside your window! The cafe and food and staff and owner all are so friendly and kind as well. Would live here for years if I could!

An Absolute Gem! Incredible Value in a Lush Paradise

​This is a true hidden gem and, without a doubt, one of the best value-for-money places I've ever stayed in Chiang Mai.
​The hotel's location is unique and beautiful, situated downstream from the Mae Sa Waterfall with a stream flowing right past the entrance. The entire property is enveloped in lush greenery, making it incredibly picturesque and tranquil. The air is wonderfully fresh, and it feels like a true escape into nature.
​While the room isn't large, the design is incredibly smart and efficient. The use of space is brilliant, and it's fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and convenient stay. The room is also cleaned once daily and kept spotless.
​The staff and service deserve special praise. Every team member is exceptionally kind and friendly. Their service is what I'd call "seamless and unobtrusive"—they are thoughtful and attentive, anticipating your needs without ever being intrusive.
​Lastly, a very important and friendly tip for future guests, which is also a small suggestion for the hotel. Because the natural environment here is so pristine, it is crucial to keep your doors and windows fully closed at night (not just the mosquito screens) and turn off any unnecessary outdoor lights. I made the mistake of leaving a patio light on one evening, and the screen door was swarmed with literally thousands of tiny black flies trying to get in. It was a rather horrifying scene. I sincerely hope the hotel considers leaving a small note in the rooms to remind guests of this.
​All in all, this was a near-perfect stay. The hotel also offers long-term rentals, and I'm already planning to come back for an extended stay on my next trip to Chiang Mai. Highly recommended for anyone who loves nature and is seeking a peaceful retreat!

Delicious food, clean accommodation, good and standard equipment, fast internet, and a peaceful atmosphere. There are a few too many insects at night, but the price is affordable. For cat lovers, there are two friendly and adorable cats.
