This place is a gem of a find. Very reasonably priced the rooms are clean and fresh and particularly airy. The shaded balcony with deck chairs provides a wonderful place to read and enjoy the amazing views over the Andaman Sea. It is ideally located for bars restaurants and other acitivities. The owners are particularly welcoming, offering a fabulous breakfast and complimentary tea and coffee. Would highly recommend this wonderful cluster of wooden stilted bungalows. So pleased to have found it.

This is fourth stay at Tabeak and it certainly won’t be our last. The view from here is unbelievable, to watch the sunrise over the Hong islands with the natural soundtrack of jungle really is something special. If you love wildlife and peace this is the place to stay, hornbills literally outside your door, monkeys, squirrels, butterfly’s, bats, numerous birds, toads and frogs, it’s beautiful. The bungalows are basic but spacious and very clean, we had a fridge in our room with was a nice touch, and a kettle with tea and coffee with two bottles of water every day. We rented a scooter from Pramot for our stay (he knows everything about the island is so helpful and very friendly) to explore the island, which I really recommend, so much to see, rice paddy fields, rubber trees, mangroves, quiet beaches, forests and of course the views. But even if you don’t want to scooter everywhere there are a lot of options for places to eat within walking distance. Our favourite places to eat, to name a few were, sabai corner, parabar, and Chaba cafe next door, ciao Bella, yaonoi seafood next door to Charlie bar. And you can get really cheap and delicious food from many of the little roadside restaurants in the village. We also did a cookery class with Mina, which I highly recommend, which Pramot arranged for us. I can’t rate this island and bungalows enough, it’s our favourite place in Thailand. We’ve done luxury resorts in the past but give me a basic bungalow in a stunning setting surrounded by wildlife anytime!

This is our 2nd visit to this amazing place and island. Our favourite place to visit in all of Thailand and we’ve travelled around a lot! It’s lovely and quite quaint beautiful and offers more of an authentic real Thailand appeal to the busy commercial areas. We’ve stayed at Tabeak twice now and you are greeted by amazing views, fantastic hospitality lovely breakfast and clean detached bungalows. The bungalows aren’t five star but have everything you possibly need are clean well equipped and you get the best views in Koh Yao Noi. Pramot who runs the bungalows goes out his way to help you and organised our private boat tour. Highly recommend this stunning place. You won’t be disappointed! We look forward to visiting again.

We spent 3 nights there at the end of March and we split in 2 bungalows. The reviews on booking websites were encouraging however we didn't have a great experience.

The accommodations and the overall estate are dated and could really do with an update and a bit of love and care. The views however are great and really make up for the rest.

Overall we felt that we paid a lot of money in comparison to other much more recent places on the island.

We didn't feel much welcome neither and the owners barely spoke to us on arrival and during our stay.

A lovely, quiet place to stay on the sleepy island of Koh Yao Noi. There are some bars and restaurants a short walk away, but Tabeak Viewpoint has its own excellent restaurant with reasonably priced Thai food cooked very well. I ate here most nights. The bungalows are all very nicely built, mine just had a fan but I would perhaps recommend going for the air conditioning as it was very hot some nights. Room had a fridge so if you take a moped (250thb per day) I recommend buying a few snacks and cold drinks to keep in there. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, happy to help you plan activities and arrange taxis etc. I would happily return in the future.

Lovely place. The owners are very nice and helpful. We enjoyed renting a scooter from them. It was clean and they helped us to set up some excursions. Food was good. Would stay again.

Probably some of the best views on the island can be had here. Owner is super friendly and helpful. They offer meals on site from 8am-9pm which is convenient. They also offer motorbike and bicycle rentals—also convenient. It was 250 THB a day for an automatic motorbike (bike rental is a necessity by the way if you want to really see the whole island). There are also some good restaurants within 10-15 minutes walking. The beach is about a 5-7 min walk. One recommendation though if you’re staying here, get one of the rooms with a/c. We were either too hot with the windows closed or ate up by mosquitoes. Great experience regardless.

Our stay here was great, would definitely recommend for anyone visiting this island.
Owners are super helpful and laid back, food was delicious at the restaurant, and the motorbike rental was great for 150 baht for a manual bike.
Rooms are cleaned on the second day, provided us with towels, bar of shampoo and mosquito repellent bars (you burn them on a special plate they provide you with).
View is absolutely amazing. If you're walking though, I will warn you that the hill to get to the place is pretty steep... Well worth it for the view though.
