Suntisook Resort in Koh Yao Noi

The atmosphere here is warm and family-friendly. Despite visiting during rainy days, our stay was still wonderful. Breakfast was excellent and very appetizing. The morning light by the resort was stunning, and the garden inside was beautifully maintained. You can enjoy the view right from your room or with just a short 50-meter walk to the beach. It’s perfect for couples or families seeking peace and quiet. Nearby, you’ll also find charming local restaurants and shops, with authentic vibes and the warm friendliness of the locals

My friend and I visited Koh Yao Noi without booking any accommodation in advance. By chance, we drove past this homestay and decided to stay here, hoping to support a local business. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we made on our trip. First of all, the price was incredibly affordable compared to what we received. The room was spotless, well maintained, and could easily be compared to a 4–5 star hotel. What impressed us the most was the warm hospitality of the owner, who went out of their way to assist us, recommend places to visit, and treat us just like family. The breakfast was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. One highlight not to be missed is the beautiful sunrise in the morning. During low tide, you can even walk across to the small island right in front of the homestay, which was a truly special experience. Overall, this place is more than just accommodation. it’s a memorable experience of local life on the island. Highly recommended!

It was a lovely and wonderful stay for us. It was our honeymoon trip. And the hosts Eeh and his sister Chuee were such good hosts, they made us feel at home and very so helpful and kind. The hotel has a wonderful location, right on the beach and has a boutique vibe to it

A gorgeous little hidden gem on the most beautiful island. A true piece of paradise. The hotel is family run and super friendly. Everything was clean and functional. Breakfast was home cooked and had good options. Right on the beach with a lovely view from the huts. We rented a ped from the resort and they helped arrange our transport back to the mainland. Could not recommend this place enough. Only downsides are the WiFi is unreliable (did not bother us) and there is no pool.

I thought this place was lovely, and good value for money. The bungalows were in immaculate condition, with some lovely attention to detail. A local family run the place, which seems to make a big difference, as opposed to other places I have stayed in Thailand. Breakfast was decent and the resort had a beautiful view. Would stay again.

Family run and very friendly hosts; they organised for us to charter a boat to go out to Hong and other islands, this was such an amazing experience and for a far cheaper price than it would have been from Ao nang where we were previously. Bungalows are in a lovely quiet location, cost 100tb per adult to get a taxi from the pier. Beautiful and comfortable bungalow with aircon. Excellent breakfast selection. Evening restaurant meals were really nice and well priced. They do not sell alcohol but there is a small beach bar just a few minutes walk away, or they are happy for you to bring your own to the restaurant.

We’ve stayed at Suntisook for the second time and can’t rate it highly enough. The location on the island with a view of the small islands and rocks of Phang Nha Bay is stunning. The bungalows are decorated tastefully and the spacious verandas are perfect for spending some lazy hours. Super friendly and helpful owner family and very good restaurant. Our recommendations: Mussaman curry, the local fish is delicious, rich Thai gravy and mango smoothie. Super breakfast, too. We’d love to come back very much!

Incredible place to stay! Rooms well equipped, host ("Chewy") amazinly friendly & helpful, & quiet. Clean bathroom, hot shower, comfortable beds, cool ac, etc. 11 peaceful bungalows with great views of sea. Family run, garden on site for fresh veggies, & super value. I stayed 5 nights & throughly enjoyed. Breakfast & dinners amazing! Bike & bicycle rental on site. On island tours arranged here & to other islands. Transport to/from pier arranged here. Great value!

The cabins are great, comfy and clean. The breakfast is great: fresh fruit and everyday something new on the table. The hosting couple is super nice, you can rent a bycicle or a scooter and they have some good tips what to do.

Perfect. Thanks to Chui and his family. The service and attention have been excellent. The Island is pure tranquility and beauty. The friendliness of the locals is striking. The hotel has wonderful views and the sunrise from the room and the beach is incredible
