Been in and out of Thailand for years. Always had great service in many hotels all across the country. Bamboo was a one experience I do not wish to repeat. The staff are arrogant, deceitful and not interested in guests well being. The rooms are old and not maintained. Staff were not interested in any of our reasonable requests. If you really want to stay in Koh Chang look around and never book this hotel.

A little worn but perfect on the beach
Unfortunately the internet was bad

I am so enjoy to stay here
Sea views room
You must book
The restaurant have the best food
Especially the fried chicken wing
22 seconds you already in the sea
Maybe the staff doesn’t speak good English here
For my experience
everyone is friendly,
polite, smiling here
Love everythings here ❤️❤️❤️

An excellent hotel in its price range. Neat and clean. The sea is about 20 meters from the room exit. There's a great bar with affordable prices right on the beach.

Quiet Resort at time of visit. Very limited parking. Restaurant/Bar closes very early (as does most of the others), certainly by 21:30

The hotel room was very clean, and the beautiful beach view was right outside the window as soon as you opened the door. I loved this beach room. It was just a short walk to the beach, and I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great location and everything you need on your doorstep. The girl on reception is very helpful if you need anything.
We stayed for 8 days initially then returned to Koh Chang after visiting other Islands. Phoned up and booked directly, think that tells you we were more than happy with everything.

The air conditioner is Nong Yai. The air conditioner must be 20,000 and up. The room should not be more than 8,000. It's terribly hot.

Bamboo is a beachfront hotel where we have stayed several times. The hotel is a bit older, but everything is clean and in working order. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly place right by the beach, this is probably the right spot for you.

Very disappointed with the welcoming at the reception 😞😞😞😞and we thought it is OK “maybe it is just a bad day of the staff!!! “

Not sure about it but that place made us to regret of being in that island 🥲!!!! No sense of humour at all!!! No service!!! No smile!!!

Nobody would like to face that while dreaming a great vacation in that beautiful and peaceful 🇹🇭

Till we had that unfortunate experience, we really enjoyed every moment and every landscape of the lovely country!!! but not that spot!!!😞

Not recommended, if you don’t have to!!!

Sure everyone has different experiences but unfortunately this is what we got on our arrival😞, maybe a bad day of the staff or unexpected behaviour during high season!!🤔

Share your experiences, help others make the right choice!

Think about what you would like to know if you were looking for a review about a place to relax. Please describe in detail what you liked and what you didn't. What would you advise to other guests and to the hotel owner. The more fully you tell about the hotel, the easier it will be for other people to make a choice and they will be very grateful to you!
