Ban Inchat Bungalow in Samet Island

A very nice place to stay, away from the main drag in a calm and relaxing part of the island. There’s a bar and restaurant as part of the resort, open late, serving good quality western and Thai food, good prices and it is literally right on the beach.

There’s a road but the noise wasn’t a problem at all, certainly when compared to other places on the island in the hectic areas.

Rooms are simple, adequate and cosy, exactly as advertised and very reasonable prices.

The team was friendly, flexible and welcoming for the 5 nights I had there.

Getting to town is a 15 minute walk but there are taxis or other ways to arrange transport. It’s extremely handy for the ferry terminal.

Along the north road there are some restaurants which are all great, and a coffee shop right at the end. The beaches on the north side are nice, and very quiet.

It’s an ideal place to come back to after a day exploring the local area or further afield on the island.

Relaxed place that feels like Thailand 15 years ago - a charming little find just a short stroll from the pier.

Excellent staff and a fantastic owner. They looked after us and our little baby girl so well that it felt like a second home.

Stayed at Minnie's other place in town, which was also wonderful. Came here for a G&T at the beach bar and it was perfect. Stunning views, really chilled and the young lady at the bar was so friendly and helpful! A superb place, and Minnie is an absolute diamond. 100% would visit again, thank you Minnie@

I only came for the bar. The view and landscape are perfect for chilling in the afternoon. The sunlight and the cool breeze are just right. you can enjoy your drink in the shade of the trees or sit in the sun to work on your tan. I ordered the Orange Vodka it’s smooth and delicious. The owner is really nice, which makes this place even more gorgeous.

Great place, beautiful bungalows, away from the hustle and hustle so you can sleep in peace but still close enough to get to the center of activity in just a short 15 minute walk.
The owner ist super friendly and gave me great recommendations on where to find the restaurats that are frequented by the locals.
I loved it there!

Quite but not isolated. Only 400m to 7 11.
Small beach with bungalows set back with a nice bar serving cold beer.
