We stayed in a private room with two single beds. The room was spacious and had a closet and bedside table. The wifi worked very well. We were in room V1 and the AC worked extremely well. Our friends in V3 found the AC didn’t work as well. How quiet it is will also depend on the room: our side of the building (V rooms) face a busy street with traffic and construction noises until 1:30AM, but the other side of the building (A rooms) were on a quieter street. We still managed to get some sleep.
The hostel provides one large bath towel per person. The bathrooms are shared. It’s pretty clean but I recommend bringing or buying sandals to wear in the shower. They provide shampoo and hand soap on the women’s side, and shampoo and body wash on the men’s side, and the shower temperature and pressure range are great. Definitely check to make sure your chosen toilet has toilet paper before sitting down.
There is a nice common sitting area with a small kitchen and balcony. The fridge is large and they provide labels. There are forks and spoons, a few plates, and a couple bowls. There are no cups. I brought instant coffee and drank it from a bowl. But there is a clean water dispenser with cold water and hot water (the hot water didn’t work on Day 2, but we just microwaved the cold water). You can buy coffee at the counter downstairs.
We did not luck out with the room, but otherwise we were comfortable and it was good value for money.
amazing food all around the place. i recommend! :)
I had a private room that was spacious and quiet for a hostel. There was a Smart TV so I could watch Netflix and other streaming apps. The shower was great (warm and powerful) however there was mould around the ceiling. Overall though, great value.
Next to the noise, the mattress I had was very firm. Very firm.
During the day, you can take an express boat to visit various places along the Chao Phraya River to Nonthaburi Pier. or take a walk around the Ong Ang Canal Kayaking is fun. If you are good at walking, you can walk to Sanam Luang. or go up to pay homage to the Buddha image at Wat Saket Golden Mountain. It is considered a very good location.
Late at night, walk to the Sampeng market at night Bustling from midnight to early morning. One day off Sunday night There is a wide variety of wholesale items to choose from. walking at night is not hot Near Yaowarat area, in the evening, there are delicious restaurants lined up on both sides of the road. There is a long queue for toast shop. Sweet time dessert shop is delicious. Don't forget to take a photo with the unique sign of Yaowarat. It's very beautiful.
At night, around the hotel, quiet but safe, clean rooms, there is a common area to use, there are dishes, bowls, refrigerators, microwaves, buy food to sit and eat. Shared bathroom separate male and female But it's comfortable. no problem most importantly, inexpensive It's a hostel that doesn't have dormitory-style bunk beds. but has separate rooms fully furnished If the average per head Going to stay for two is considered very worthwhile. It is another accommodation that is impressive and would like to recommend. For people in other provinces who want to experience the nightlife atmosphere of Yaowarat and buy wholesale products in the Sampeng area at night.
