Ago Hotel Chinatown in Bangkok

Overall, it's pretty good. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast and the dining environment. Looking out the window, it's absolutely peaceful and slow-paced, perfect for unwinding. It's about a 15-minute walk to the pier for boat rides. Excellent value for money.

The hotel is located near Chinatown. The surrounding area is decent. The room facilities are a bit basic but very clean. It's spacious enough for three people. Breakfast was good, and the front desk service was excellent.

Hotel located close to Chinatown and Taloi Noi which are great areas to explore by foot, eat and enjoy the art. The room and common areas were clean. Breakfast was good and provided with enough variety. Bottled water was provided and sheets/towels were changed on the daily basis. Staff was extremely helpful and nice, putting an effort to make us feel comfortable. We had an issue with the booking and they helped us sort everything out. The only downside of the stay was the sound isolation in the rooms. We could hear everything outside but there wasn't much going at night in the area immediately close to the hotel.

Solo stay
At first, the room looked fine, but when I lifted the blanket, I found several black stains on the bed sheet — possibly mold.
There was a mosquito in the room when I arrived, and although I caught one before sleeping, I woke up with 11 mosquito bites.
The cleanliness and room maintenance were very disappointing. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a pleasant stay.

Smaller boutique style hotel. Very clean and modern room at a great rate. Was perfect for me for an overnight stay close to railway station.

Friendly and helpful staff, quiet room, and great value for money

Really really really love it! The staff is really kind! The room is so clean, the bathroom is nice and it’s quiet spacious for a 3 bedroom. It’s a nice hotel! Easy to reach and close to talat noi. Love it!

Room was the perfect size for me...located just off the lift lobby. Quiet enough, facing the Chinese Temple next door. Hotel staff were really helpful, especially the first night. They recommended a really great street food stall for dinner, only I wasn't too sure of how to get there. The hotel porter/help, walked me to the site - only spoke Thai. That was really helpful and kind. The street food stall recommended was great, close to the 7-Eleven, cafes, and small shops along the street. Hotel is located at a partially residential, semi industrial area. So things do get quiet earlier in the evening. Location wise, it was easy to get to most places by Grab or River boats. Charming boutique hotel, lots of antiques at the dining space. Owner has done a great job. Downside, only one key card was issued - so if you're out and have fresh fruit or stuff in the mini fridge, power gets cut.
