Very good hotel and nice service , I will come to this hotel again

The room was spacious and well decorated. The staff was friendly. Location is good

Great butler who attempted to make our stay feel welcomed, room cleaner and breakfast staff!! It was lovely to meet Genji who communicated with us by email to set up dinner at Nimter and massage. He made us feel heard when we shared our experiences.

We had 3 overall nice days here. The rooms were Luxurious, the hotel had great ambiance and mood music made it relaxing.

However, there were many inconsistencies that made our stay Unsatisfactory. For such a beautiful luxurious building, it looks like the lack of maintenance and attention details will make this hotel lose its shine and standing.

1. We arrived seeing No Doorman or Bellboy. No one helped us with our luggages. When we asked the Front Desk of 4 people about it, they nonchalantly told us that the bellboy probably busy bringing up the luggages to other customers’ rooms without attempting to help us.

2. The beds in the master in room 2407 had pits in the middle making it hard to sleep and causing kinks in my neck. For a luxurious hotel, rest is one of the most important things you look for and I dreaded going to sleep here.

3. They have Bose speakers for the TV. But it took the engineer a second visit and reset the Bose and unplugged the Smart TV to make it work. Well, the next day it didn’t work again.

4. We tried out their roof top infinity pool and 2 jacuzzis. My husband waded to the panel to start the jacuzzi. Inside was exposed wires and the base of the panel was dangerously close to the water level. There was no “Out of Order”signage anywhere nor was it corded off. This was very upsetting. Someone could have been electrocuted.

5. There was a horrible dirty urinal smell each time I went to wash my hands in the restroom. After sniffing around, I found the dried flowers that decorated the tray containing the soap and hand lotion to be the culprit. This tray was placed in the middle between the cups and water bottles. I promptly placed it away from the counter into the bathtub to avoid further nasty smells.

I wanted to shout out to the masseuse Nook at Nitra Spa. She worked out the neck kinks, twice! My husband’s masseuse was Ook (sp?).

Please note that the location of the hotel is on a one way street, so expect a lot of additional slow down during traffic times (40+ minutes).

The open-air bar on the 27th floor offers a stunning view. The bars offer panoramic views of the Bangkok skyline. You can order delicious pizza and pasta while sipping exotic mocktails. It's pricey, but I think it's worth it. There's an oculus-like hole in the floor that also offers a fun view down below!

137 Pillars exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us with genuine warmth and professionalism — check-in was done in the suite itself with welcome drinks, which set the tone for the stay.

The suite was spacious, beautifully designed, and felt like a private apartment rather than a hotel room. The floor-to-ceiling windows gave an amazing view of the Bangkok skyline, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. Small touches like a pillow menu, complimentary mini-bar, and a butler on call made the stay feel extra special.

The highlight for me was the infinity pool on the rooftop (41st floor) — it’s reserved for suite guests only and offers breathtaking views, especially at sunset. The poolside service was attentive but never intrusive.

Breakfast was served at the Nimitr restaurant and had both à la carte and buffet options; the food quality was excellent. I also tried Jack Bain’s Bar one evening — a stylish spot with creative cocktails and a very cozy atmosphere.

The only minor downside is the location — it’s not directly on Sukhumvit, so you need a short shuttle or taxi ride to get to the BTS. But honestly, the hotel’s quiet setting was a blessing after a busy day in Bangkok.

Overall, 137 Pillars is the kind of place where you feel pampered and at home at the same time. Definitely one of the top luxury stays in Bangkok.

We stayed here on our way back from our honeymoon for 4 days, it was amazing. Their service and kindness were outstanding. Loved the infinity pool and breakfast! Will definitely come back whenever we're at bangkok! Mr Pong took really good care of us

I’ve been here twice now over my stay in Bangkok and it’s absolutely impeccable. Food and drinks are great, and the service is fantastic - shout out to the gentleman View who made afternoon very hospitable. Would recommend to anyone wanting somewhere to relax for an afternoon/early evening.

What a fantastic hotel the excellent service and facilities. Fahsai is a thoughtful and responsible staff for serving us for the whole stay.

A Mixed Stay at 137 Pillars Bangkok
My recent stay at 137 Pillars Bangkok, booked for two nights, was unfortunately cut short to just one due to a significant issue with the air conditioning. Despite complaining about the malfunctioning unit, the problem persisted, making for an uncomfortable night.
On a positive note, the check-in and check-out process was smooth, and the staff were consistently nice and provided good service throughout my brief stay. The hotel clearly once boasted a five-star luxury, and while it's still a pleasant environment, it's evident that the property is quite dated and showing signs of wear and tear.
The bed was comfortable, and the price was reasonable for the overall experience. However, the air conditioning issue was a major drawback that ultimately led to my early departure.
