Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok in Bangkok

The hotel's lobby and overall ambiance are a bit dim. The check-in area on the first floor is too small, with a large portion dedicated to the restaurant/bar, leaving only 3-4 small tables for guests.

The room is quite spacious, but also on the dim side.

**Service:**
The doorman at the entrance was very proactive and enthusiastic, opening the car door immediately upon arrival, helping with luggage, and taking it to the lobby, making sure it was handled well.
However, the front desk staff were incredibly slow, and the entire check-in process was flawed. Guests had to stand in line with all their luggage to check in, which is an experience I haven't had at other hotels. Yesterday, it took 40-50 minutes from queuing to finally getting into the room. After a full day of travel, having to wait so long to check in was truly exhausting.

**Hygiene:**
As soon as I opened the cabinet, I found two unwashed cups inside... They came to replace the cups later and apologized, but I have to ask, for a hotel at this price point, isn't this level of hygiene a bit outrageous??
The shower water pressure was also very low.

**Breakfast:**
For a hotel of this price, there's no excuse for breakfast to be bad. However, compared to Kimpton, the variety was significantly less. But one detail they did well is that freshly made items like noodle soup and omelets, which require waiting, are ordered à la carte. Similarly, handcrafted coffee and hot tea are also ordered to prevent burns. However, the service staff at the entrance to the breakfast area were quite poor; there wasn't always someone there. If guests arrive for breakfast and no one is around, they have to wait for a staff member to come and check them in.

Overall, the price is high, but the service and facilities don't live up to it. And I'll say it again, the hotel check-in time is really, really too long.
