Right Place Sathorn in Bangkok

Terrible experience... Avoid at all cost !
Arrived at 7pm from airport like I told them, extremely aggressive reception staff, no hello just a " what do you want" with very bad eye contact , even the Thai taxi was confused and ask them to be nice with the farang in Thai language. Room I booked given to another client so staff propose me a total different room, much smaller with the price of the bigger one I booked 1 week ago. When asked why, response was " you take it or you cancel, we don't care", total confusion, leaving me in very bad situation , probably sleep in the street. Witnnessed At the reception also other foreigners (family) that had same bad treatment than me , getting worse for them because they had childrens. 3 years coming regularly in Thailand and Never ever had such experience. Asked some locals in the area who told me "this hotel are everytime not good with foreigners". Hope it will help you to avoid this type of hotel which destroy tourism in Thailand

This review is based on our stay in room 801 a self catering room. It is one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. The towels were very old and tatty, the sofa was stained, the blinds were stained, the walls need repainting, the chairs have rust on them, the bedding had holes in it, the shower was lukewarm at it’s highest setting, there was only cold water and no plug in the wash basin making shaving very difficult, no where to hang you towel when showering and killed my first 2 cockroaches in Bangkok here. The location is remote from most tourist places and getting a taxi or Bolt to come here was a challenge and took a long time in the traffic. If you do stay here, a taxi driver said tell drivers you are near the Lumpini suites as a lot of them know it. To finish on a good note the provision of a free Tuk Tuk to anywhere within 3km is useful, the free water was appreciated and the staff are helpful.

Bed is hard, WiFi is slow and only works with one device, no shower curtain in the bathroom and staff are often unhelpful. This is the wrong place; avoid.

Definitively not the right place, window door broken, noisy, and there is suspicious stains on all the wall, window blinds and even towels...
