I stayed at CheQinn Hostel Sukhumvit 4 Nana Plaza for several nights in July 2025. Here's my honest take on the stay:
📌 Location (3.5/5)
Nestled in vibrant Soi Nana, it’s just a 5-minute walk from Nana BTS Skytrain Station, making it convenient for exploring Bangkok. It sits at the heart of nightlife—bars, street food, and 7‑11 stores are all around, which is energetic but can be loud at night. Great if you like to stay in the action, but less ideal if you’re seeking peace recently noted by guests .
🛏 Comfort & Cleanliness (3.0/5)
The hostel has a sleek, minimalist design, with both dorms and private rooms. Beds are generally comfortable, and daily housekeeping is provided. Still, cleanliness is inconsistent—some dorms and bathrooms had slow drainage, occasional mold, or stale odours. Towels, soap, toiletries, and curtains are not always provided and may cost extra or must be requested .

The room was quite dirty. The sheets weren't changed. It seemed like it wasn't cleaned very often. I finished it after one visit and didn't stay there again.

Don't be deceived by the hostel reception on the left side of this skimpy road, your room is not on this building, it's across on the right side and end of this road. The very dark ground floor with nothing but an old couch, unclean pantry. The rooms of this building is really terrible, very dark, unpleasant and smelly. I ended up just sleeping at the ground floor on the couch since it left me with no choice.

4 guests booked 3 rooms. The room we checked in had hot air conditioning. The bathroom and air conditioning were a bit old. However, we requested to change rooms and the staff changed them for us. Thank you.

I really hate to leave such a negative review, but this place was awful.
The bed was infested with bed bugs — I couldn’t sleep all night and left with bites all over. The room felt dirty, and the bathroom was in terrible condition. I tried to make the best of it, but honestly, I just wanted to leave. I wouldn’t recommend this hostel to anyone until they seriously clean up and fix these issues..

Sorry guys but people have to know, I booked a room here and moved out within an hour, 100% not what it looks like on the photos at least for the private room anyway.
The guys on the front desk were nice and helpful, I didn’t even ask for a refund I wanted to get out so quick.
I don’t know what I expected for 400 bht
The room smells and you have to do a walk of shame past, what looked like sex workers to get to the hotel, they were staring at me and my girlfriend. Not again. Sorry guys.

The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the staff being polite and welcoming. The overall service during the stay was satisfactory, with prompt responses to requests and a professional attitude. The hotel offered a comfortable experience, and the amenities provided met expectations. Overall, a pleasant stay with good value for money.

Terrible rooms, dirt, cockroaches. The only plus is the location
