Sukhumvit Beds in Bangkok

I stayed at CheQinn Hostel Sukhumvit 4 Nana Plaza for several nights in July 2025. Here's my honest take on the stay:

📌 Location (3.5/5)
Nestled in vibrant Soi Nana, it’s just a 5-minute walk from Nana BTS Skytrain Station, making it convenient for exploring Bangkok. It sits at the heart of nightlife—bars, street food, and 7‑11 stores are all around, which is energetic but can be loud at night. Great if you like to stay in the action, but less ideal if you’re seeking peace recently noted by guests .

🛏 Comfort & Cleanliness (3.0/5)
The hostel has a sleek, minimalist design, with both dorms and private rooms. Beds are generally comfortable, and daily housekeeping is provided. Still, cleanliness is inconsistent—some dorms and bathrooms had slow drainage, occasional mold, or stale odours. Towels, soap, toiletries, and curtains are not always provided and may cost extra or must be requested .

Amenities include free Wi-Fi throughout the building, a shared lounge with a pool table, indoor games, a bar/coffee corner, terrace, safe lockers, laundry services, lounge and business corner, plus luggage storage . Reception operates roughly 08:00–20:00 so plan accordingly. There's limited privacy but some rooms include in-room safes and desks .

Rates range around USD 20–30/night for dorm beds or basic double rooms. If you're okay with barebones amenities and, occasionally, musty shared spaces, it's decent budget value—especially for short stays. That said, some reviews warn that maintenance and cleanliness issues make it feel cheaper than advertised .
