Baan Sukhumvit Soi 18 in Bangkok

I love this hotel so much ❤️ 100% recommended. The staff are very friendly and nice. The rooms are spacious for its price too. It is close to the BTS station and metro station so that’s a plus. And there’s a 7eleven close to it making it very convenient for small purchases. Would love to book here again in the future! ❤️

The hotel is so nice and beautifully clean and very traditional Thai. In essence it’s a little time warp of good old fashioned hospitality and the staff make a real impression too. From the fabulous manager Thongbai to the housemaids and night security, the team really makes an effort. I heartily recommend Baan hotel

The room is on the second floor. Although the hotel is said to open in 2023 on Ctrip, the facilities still feel a bit old. There is a musty smell as soon as you enter. The room is on the second floor, the stairs are relatively high, and there is no elevator. It feels that it is not very convenient for people with suitcases to go up and down.
The advantage is that it is very close to BTS and MTR. Google Maps says it takes 10 minutes, but I feel it is only 3 or 4 minutes. Then it is only 3 stops to Siam, which is very close. It feels that there are skytrains and subways here, and it is very convenient to go anywhere.
The BTS exit is also connected to Terminal 21, which is a shopping mall and worth visiting.
There is a 711 2 minutes walk from the hotel, which is very convenient. There are small stalls next to it in the morning and evening, where you can buy some fruit snacks. 711 is a few dozen meters away from the main road. There is a small shop selling mango sticky rice, which tastes good.
There is a massage shop opposite the hotel downstairs. I didn’t go there, so I don’t know how the price is, but there are several nearby, so you can compare prices.
Emsphere, Emquartier and Emporium are about a 10-minute walk from the hotel and are all great for visiting.

The room was clean, the air conditioning worked great, and the staff were lovely and friendly. No toothbrush or toothpaste was provided in the room. I really liked how spacious the bathroom was, but my only minor complaint was the inconsistent hot water, which would alternate between warm and cold.

My partner and I recently travelled to Bangkok for the first time. What an experience! The city is crazy but at Baan Sukhumvit 18 it is peaceful and homely. The staff went above and beyond for us and made many recommendations which was extremely helpful. The room was cleaned daily and the entire place was tidy and, the air conditioning works well. I would definitely recommend stating here, the location is perfect. Walking distance to everything and even better right next to the BTS sky train and the MRT underground train.

I broke my arm 4 days before my check in date and could not travel. I contacted the hotel and sent them proof. They denied my cancellation. I will not book here again.

I booked a room only because of the design, the description did not show photos of other rooms of this category. They gave me another room, not the one in the description in the photo. I was very upset. The hotel is old, stuffy. The staff is friendly.
