The room was a bit small, mainly the bed. My partner kept kicking me when they turned over. 😅 It's a bit old, but convenient for Chinatown, just a few minutes' walk away.

Wonderful from start to finish - perfect welcome, lovely roo, great location and excellent service throughout.

My stay was actually ok: the hotel is nicely decorated, the room is clean, the location is fine, and it’s easy to get around. However, you should be aware that ************ takes place on the street outside the hotel in the evenings. And the most important point of my review: one incident unfortunately had a negative impact on my stay, so I’m afraid I can’t give the hotel a good rating. Specifically, my bag containing all my souvenirs was stolen from the room by the cleaning staff. Fortunately, I noticed it when I was packing my suitcase that same day. The bag gladly was returned (a staff found it) but when I got back I home I realised that something was missing after all. The hotel’s only suggestion was that someone could collect the items locally in Bangkok. When I replied that I was on holiday and, naturally, didn’t know anyone in Bangkok who could bring the items back for me, and asked whether a refund was possible, I have received no response to this day! So you’d be better off looking for another hotel in Bangkok / this area.

The room size was good, and it had a laundry room, a card room, and a gym. The breakfast selection wasn't huge. It's conveniently located in Chinatown with plenty of restaurants and massage places nearby. The only downside is that the rooms facing the street are incredibly noisy; it felt like sleeping in the middle of a busy road. The soundproofing definitely needs improvement.

Over 400 yuan for a room, and no slippers – I can overlook that. But having to ask for toothbrushes and soap every day, and them getting annoyed, saying the hotel already provided them? The attitude was absolutely terrible. I do not recommend staying here. While the location is convenient, the environment and service attitude are a definite no-go. Avoid this place!!! You'd be better off staying at other hotels in the same price range.

Good for the price 15-20min walk to Chinatown

Pricing similar to budget hotel but ambience, facilities and room furnishing similar to a luxurious boutique hotel.
Hotel was clean and reception service prompt.

Maybe the only slight downside was big tour groups also use the hotel making it quite congested at time since is a few shoplots converted into a hotel

This is a great hotel in Chinatown. The staff was very friendly and was always available. I booked a single room with private bathroom. I had a ceiling leak during a thunderstorm, I messaged, and they came to offer a different room within 20 minutes. It is a budget hotel, but all the basic amenities are provided, aside from bar soap. Each room has an electric kettle. There is coin laundry on site, the dryer was broken, so I had to walk a few minutes to a 24-hour place.

Breakfast is toast and choice of instant drinks. WiFi is pretty stable. You can’t beat the location if you want a lively stay. Chinatown really wakes up around 5:00 pm and stays out until 2:00 am. That being said, I never heard the traffic or people from within my room. It was very quiet, I was on the back side of the hotel.

If you have a hard time walking or being very mobile, don’t stay here. There are only stairs, no lifts.

Horrible, the rooms are tiny and have that old water, wet too long clothes smell. Also, for breakfast, they have bread and butter, or jelly only, no fruit or protein. Coffee is a jar of instant Nescafé next to a hot water pot. I do not recommend this hotel for you or your family. They’re supposed to have laundry facilities, but the dryer is broken so you’d be left with bunch of wet laundry. It’s also supposed to have Assistance available for scheduling tours, but there’s nobody here that speaks English and they have been absolutely no help in figuring out fun things to do. On top of all this, we paid over $80 a night for our micro room that fits barely fits too small children, myself, and my husband, which is WAY overpriced. The location is good, but there are definitely better options in the area.

We have standard double room. Everything was clean and tidy. Room was small but I think for couple was more than enough. Staff was really nice and helpful. At night was quiet. Close to MRT. Definitely I can recommend this place.

No lift, only stair. Be prepare to be very fit. Room on 3rd floor and up. Please dont bring eldery/not fit people because stair very steep. Some room very smelly sewer. Choose and ask the less smelly room. Or all night you will smell the sewer so badly. The only good thing is location. When i arrive just know it is hostel not hotel, no room on 1st floor, no lift and ask to cancel the room due to my health issue, got injure on back bone, cant take steep stair to 3rd floor, they dont want to cancel it. So choose wisely before booking the hotel via online travel agent.

Short walk from MRT. Lobby area has sewage smell. Toilet is clean but also sewage smell. Good hot water for shower. Bed is clean and firm. Good design with lamp switch and socket for every bed. Bring your own lock, there is a latch and the storage underneath your bed. Breakfast is basic. Toast and cereal. Need a deposit of 200 baht for access card. No lift, steep staircase, not suitable for huge luggage. One night 450 baht, booked via Facebook messenger, no advance payment.

Absolutely dreamy place, feels like setting foot into a grungy Renaissance era midway between museum and your usual 5 stars hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful, food was great. The area is bustling with trendy bars voted best of Bangkok. Highly recommended

It’s a very unique boutique hotel in a 100-year old building near China town, filled with characters and old charm. Khun Joy, the owner passionately told us about the history of this building, and her hard work & strong will that turns it into this unique gems. I also love the skylight.

This vintage café, set in a charming colonial-style building, carries a long history that makes it such a unique and memorable high tea spot. If you love art, elegance, and a touch of whimsy, this is a must-visit.

The food is creative and flavorful — I especially loved the “Summer Dream”, a fresh salad beautifully garnished with edible tropical flowers. The surprising mix of colors and textures, paired with a refreshing citrus dressing made from Thai organic oranges, was simply delightful.

A perfect place to slow down, soak in the artistic atmosphere, and enjoy a truly elegant experience. Highly recommended!

Completely over rated in my opinion. Feedback : Poor aircon. Insects. Noisy. Limited average food. Photo of old walls ?? Old floor?? Haha. Pictures are also not dramatic. See awesome historical hotels in China, Penang, Singapore and Bandung. Far more meaning and architectural value 😂😂😂

The decor and atmosphere in this hotel is amazing. The staff, food and cocktails were also great. The treason for the 3 stars instead of five is that we were moved to another room due to some electrical issues which was fine however the room was very bright due to no curtains or shutters in the shower which is right next to the bed. We also purchased the largest room for our friend’s birthday (4 days after we stayed) only to hear that they were also downgraded to a standard room due to “electrical issues”. Very disappointing that the rooms we booked were denied on both occasions with the same poor excuse. If we had been informed of this we would never have booked.
