Blooming Hill Hotel in Pattaya

Clean tidy boss is friendly and generous, will go next time

Wonderful, Thai family owned boutique hotel showcasing Thai hospitality and Thai contemporary design, two qualities that Thais are world class in. The rooms are like serviced apartments and their Gardener restaurant is iconic in itself due to its beautiful design and warm ambience. For visitors who prefer the serenity of Pratamnak Hill and the adjacent Pratamnak beach while Pattaya and Jomtien beaches are less than 10 minutes away by transport. Blooming Hill stands out and is an option for visitors preferring a more relaxed place than in the often, sterile environment of branded hotels.

The room itself is not bad, but the cleaning is rare, and the water was only left two or three times in almost two weeks.

The staff is very responsive and resolves any issues, but unfortunately, there were some: the hot water went out a couple of times, they forgot to clean the room (maybe they didn't notice when we left), there are no closets, there's nowhere to put small items or linens, the semblance of a closet is separated from the room by a sliding door with a mirror, three hangers, and no shelves. The shower drains poorly, but the pressure is good.
Location-wise, the Big Buddha is nearby (10 minutes' walk), and Pattaya Park and the market are also 10-15 minutes away. A 7-11 store is nearby.

Location The hotel is located in the Pratamnak district. There are several 7-Eleven and two Night Markets nearby. The location is very convenient: if you want you can walk to the ferry to Ko Lang or Walking Street or the beginning of Jomtien Beach. Within walking distance of several beaches. Of these the most beautiful is Hidden Beach, a 15 minute walk. Also next to the hotel is a park, this is a rarity in Pattaya. The park has jogging paths. It is very convenient to run there in the morning. Accommodation I stayed in a studio room. The room itself is not that big, but very designed. There is a TV, wi-fi, air conditioning, a small balcony, and a comfortable double bed. What is particularly good is that there is a small kitchen with a hood and stove. If you want, you can cook something yourself. The space of the room was used as efficiently as possible. Especially liked the presence of mosquito bars on the windows. In Thailand, this is a rarity. Also liked that the bathroom has a small window, and you can make a draught and not use the air conditioner Extras The hotel has a small pool with sun loungers. A washing machine is available. On the first floor there is a restaurant with a beautiful interior and delicious food. The hotel staff is very polite and helps to make your stay more comfortable! Bottom line I lived almost two months at the hotel with great pleasure. Blooming Hill is a great option to stay in Pattaya.
