Adelphi Pattaya in Pattaya

Rooms smell dump and moldy. The bathroom is under equipped and very basic. Not even close to 2-star. Why are they classified this hotel as 4-star? I'm not sure the reviews are paid or real?

It is a really great hotel, it really is! The reason I'm giving only 2 stars is because of the laundry service. For a laundy where I usually paid 60 - 100 batt per kilo, at this hotel they calculate per piece. For a one person laundry of 3kg I had to pay 1500 batt!! The hotel could give me a discount of 30% because of this scam. I still had to pay 1060 batt which is absurd for a 1 persons laundry. I strongly advise you to not use this laundry service. Except for the laundryservice it is a great hotel with a great service. I strongly advise the hotel to find a different laundryservice so customers don't get scammed afterwards.

Booked 1 night after reading good reviews. Honestly, it was total disappointment for me, from the unwelcoming check-in staff attitude, the mold smell in the room (though invisible) , the AC that make noise (see video), the bathroom that was not prepared well so water stuck(see video), women hair hidden under the sheets made it hard to believe the sheets replaced after the previous guest (though the room was clean other than that), toilet paper provided is the cheapest possible - almost air.
Location is in-front of Body soap establishment - if this your cup of tea it may be advantage. First and last time for me in this hotel. There are many better choices. Hope for the hotel is one time glitch.

Located property on Booking.com. Before confirming the room, I went to the hotel to check it out first. Was satisfied with the room but when I returned to Booking.com the hotel had removed it from the site. They then said it was better to book directly with the hotel but the price would be considerably more. It felt very dishonest and sneaky. I did not stay.
