Where to stay in Pattaya

The only good thing about this hotel is the pool; the rest of the environment is quite poor.

The facilities are complete and OK. I stayed for 1 week.

The condo was really clean. The building has everything a vacationer needs. The rooftop pool and gym were really great. The location is absolutely perfect.

Originally booked for only a few nights. But due to circumstances, my stay was extended much longer. Rooms are roomy and there is a nice balcony with a table and two chairs.  House keeping was very accommodating.  Front desk staff could certainly be friendlier.  One morning I asked if they could refill my portable water bottle - No Problem.  The next day, different staff member, same request….breakfast...

Well I really only like too review places that I like or others need warning about, this lovely place is in the I Like category. The food is great and breakfest well provided for, tbe staff very nice and happy, I like that in the land off smiles. This Hotel is decorated in a old opulate style which looks great Set back off 3 rd is a small taxi too the beach or a good 20 min walk I Recommend AAA+++

My "come to hotel " whenever I visit Pattaya. The staff always always friendly and welcoming and nothing is too difficult for them. Also, a huge shoutout to Poppy for helping me arranging cooking utensils. I will be back.

Set back about 20 minutes walk from the beach, but this is reflected in the large room sizes and of course the price. I booked a junior suite. Seperste bedroom, lounge, kitchen and bathroom. All rooms very clean, I would have given 5 stars but it's a little dated. But I like it. Location means it's quiet too. Kitchen has fridge freezer, electric hib, microwave and a kettle. Plus crockery and cutlery...

I dont know to say about this place.. its so great and perfect in everyway I have to check I am not dreaming. I honestly can say its one of the nicest hotels and service is good that I ever stay and its really good price... almost too good to be true.. I am very very impressed and I am not easily impressed!

Good location and away from the crowd... Nice suite with two bedrooms, a hall and an open kitchen... We can prepare breakfast with the hot plate/ microwave oven... Indian Restaurant and mini Grocery shop (7 Eleven) are nearby... Nice pool and a good bar...

I can recommend this place. It's location is extremely good. Just across the street of the busy boulevard. Only 30m or so. I love a nice pool and they have it. Food is also pretty good. Next to the hotel is a area that will be used to build something in the future but now is is used as a food court. As we like to try different local thing we went there often in the evening. The rooms are very basic, and the walls are paper thin... you can hear everything and everyone! It can be quite annoying...LOL!

The room is fairly spacious, furniture looked old. the walls are thin, so you can constantly hear footsteps when people walk by. Convenient location makes it easy to get around. The staff are cheerful and dedicated to their work. The price is good value for money compared to the hotel's location.

i spent one week here its a quiet place and the beds were very very comfortable everything was good the only downside was the low water pressure in the bathroom i want to make a second update. ive stayed in many places in pattaya around this price range but this one feels like home ive been here for over a month. the staff are very helpful this place really makes me feel at home.

The hotel is starting to look old. When I first entered the room, the air conditioner was very loud and the glass door didn't close properly. After moving rooms, it was better. Actually, if they renovate, it might be better. I have used this chain before, but other branches have much better rooms.

Check-in was quick and polite, and the views and ambiance were top-notch. Remember to book in advance; same-day bookings can be very expensive. The toilet had a foul smell, and there's no 7-Eleven nearby, but overall, it was a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

Very nice hotel for a relaxing holiday

The facilities look older than in the pictures. The pool is blocked by tall buildings, so it doesn't get any sun and the water is quite cold. Also, the shower water in the room kept fluctuating between cold and lukewarm, but never got hot. On the plus side, you can see a corner of the Sanctuary of Truth from the hotel.

Good sea view. A few amenities are odd (shaving kit only has a razor and no shaving cream). Housekeeping was prompt and room was clean. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant food outside of breakfast.

The hotel is in a great location, but because of this it can be very loud at night until about 1:30 or 2:00. It is kind of a quirky style, the bathrooms are “different” but functional. Could use a chair or two for sitting

Older hotel that is centrally located. Many bars and restaurants just outside the hotel. The rooms are sparse with large comfortable beds. They have working safes and a refrigerator. Overall a ok value. Very loud at nighttime with the loud bands across the street.

For me, this is a wonderful place. It’s located near Pattaya Beach, surrounded by a variety of food choices and many tourist attractions. The service and accommodation are also very good.

I mean it's an alright place. It's in a city, you have access to a lot of stuff, rooms are okay but no-where near as advertised online really does feel like a 2-3 star hotel. This is more of a location issue but it is loud in the night and it's hard to sleep. View is meh, if you like seeing buildings

Everything was nice, especially the room. Breakfast is good. Staff should not hang mops and rags in the yard, that's ab bit repulsive. The old wall looks rather depressive. Add plants and flowers to make the environment more attractive.

Great location on the beach, hotel is a little older but still good. Morning breakfast is good, but not great, pool looked nice but didn't try it out, went to the beach instead. staff were polite and handled luggage storage for us. For the price this hotel is a definite win. I would stay there again.

Stay here 4 nights in october. Clean and new hotel, nice swimming pool. 1km to the beach. 10bath for bus to the center which take 10mins. Very good breakfast with many choices. Nothing to complain compare to the price. I would like to give 4 stars. But because of super friendly staffs here(from receptionist,bell man, housekeepers, restaurant) i had to give 5.

The hotel is situated at walking distance from the beach. While taking a stroll from hotel to beach one can enjoy the local market with massage parlours, Thai food shops and shops selling souvenirs and gifts. Positives: The staff are friendly with a sufficient aptitude in English. The pool is comfortable and the buffet breakfast is reasonable. Negatives: The design of the suites is noticeably substandard. For example, the air conditioning system controls don’t really work - I had to phone the front desk several times to ask them to adjust the settings via their master controls - and we were constantly...

The staff here are all good. They really have service minds. The hotel may not big. But I'm very impressed. Only cons is that the breakfast place is too small, so it's crowded. But breakfast time is 3-4 hours so if you aren't in a hurry, you can choose when to enjoy your breakfast. I will definitely stay there again if I had a chance.

It is really great place to stay. The staff is really cooperative. The place has a great pool and you can book all the activities at the hotel. Centrally located yet a calm environment.

Let's talk about it in overall! The staff was splendid but still quite ignorant, and there were a few significant language barriers with room service. The great thing was the pool. It was quite fun and kid-friendly with a waterslide, even the kiddy pool had one! I had a great stay but there was one serious issue... THEY HAD ABSOLUTELY NO SOAP, LIKE, WHERE EVEN IS THE HYGIENE GUYZZ?!

One of the best hotels ever, best location, comfortable beds, spacious room and very helpful staff. 7Eleven is just a min walk away and it’s very convenient. They keep 2000 Thai Baht as a deposit so keep that in mind, however it was refunded upon checkout.

This hotel is in a great location. 7-11, several massage places and food are all walking distance. The nightlife is rocking here. The beds are very comfortable and the pool is OK. Breakfast is awesome. The rooms are very big and spacious with a kitchen. Microwave, full refridgerator and sink. Good outlet placements. You cant go wrong here.

I booked it mainly because of its convenient location, but actually is was so noisy at night (all night long until 9 am) that I wouldn't be able to sleep without earplugs. The facilities were quite old and worn-out. I wouldn't recommend it

The location is excellent just a minute’s walk from the lively walking streets and close to Iranian, Turkish, and Pakistani restaurants. However, if you’re seeking a quiet environment, you might want to consider other options, as this area tends to be bustling.

Location is good if you want to go to Walking Street. Room was large but tatty. Electric shower wasn’t impressive.

Everything was good here. The staff were very nice and the room also. There's a restaurant which was a highlight for me. My review is late, December 27 - January 3rd 2023. Things have changed according to the latest reviews. I had good luck with an awesome cleaning crew who were very respectful. I enjoyed my stay there.

Four of us stayed in two rooms. The building is old, but the rooms have been renovated and are beautiful. The value for money, location, and friendly staff made for a pleasant stay.

Stayed at Sandy Spring Hotel at the start and end of a months travelling Staff were really helpful and friendly, the room clean and tidy with a balcony with a sea view.

The hotel has parking available for both motorcycles and cars. It's quite close to Pattaya North Bus Terminal, so transportation is fairly convenient. The hotel itself is a bit old, and the facilities are pretty standard. A heads-up: check-in isn't until after 2 PM. Smoking is allowed on the balcony.

This place definitely has its downsides. The room's soundproofing is terrible, and there's no coffee provided! It would be great if Trip.com could encourage Hotel March to at least offer some instant coffee. Pattaya is so hot, and you really need a pick-me-up after being out in the heat! Also, a reminder about sunscreen would be very important. Thanks!

Nice hotel at reasonable prices, very clean and large rooms, the only thing I would say is that the rooms are dark, bedsides lights would make the room brighter and enable you to read at night. Other than that it's in a perfect location and a nice hotel.

There are ants everywhere in the hotel. In the evening, you can’t open the balcony door, otherwise mosquitoes come in. Unfortunately, the staff is very poorly trained. Most of the reception employees are unfriendly and often in a bad mood. They don’t make much effort to provide guests with a pleasant stay. I don’t think I will stay at this hotel again.

AC it’s cold there is more restaurants and bars . in same street big hospital for any emergency.. the pool it’s not same the photo shows It’s very small not for kids … But the big problem room it’s very sunny you can’t sleep.., the curtain not hidden the sun shine.. we will not come back … Thank .. this photo at 8;30 am we can’t sleep

Founders hotel because my girl wanted to have Ocean view, had a nice Ocean view, hotel was in good shape. They have a restaurant but didn't eat there so I don't know how good the food is. Only just a short walk to Beach Road and bars. Probably stay here again as it was quiet and peaceful.

Wanted to stay here for a while. As it was my birthday I treated myself, and so glad I did. I can only score this hotel 5/5 for everything as it was just amazing. I come to Pattaya quite often and have stayed in a few hotels. The Amethyst has been by far the best, clean, quiet, great staff and great location. Totally recommend to anyone to stay here.

Amethyst is a lovely modern hotel in a great location for shops, bars, restaurants and only 15 minute walk to the beach. The staff are pleasant and helpful, in particular Benz in the restaurant with a smile to brighten any morning and makes great coffee!

The hotel's biggest letdown is the neglected state of the mats around the pool. It's a real eyesore, which is a shame because the pool area itself is tidy. What's more, the courtyard has lost its coziness because they've turned it into a construction site due to renovations. And the noise from another building site behind the hotel just makes things worse. Don't get your hopes up for the free breakfast...
