Where to stay in Pattaya

Nice hotel. Luckily we had an upgrade to the newer room near the pool. The room is nice with a small balcony. The breakfast was ok but the pool was really great.

Not the best room, had a view to a tree and a hallway, but they had a really good service and let us stay for two full days extra even though they were fully booked. They really saved our holiday

I stayed here every time I visited my friend. The Villa rooms are close to the sea, very nice view at both sunset & sunrise. Its swimming pool is beautiful. Its location is near the Naklua market where there are the seafood market & various home-recipe restaurants & food shops.

Quiet end of Beach Road. Easy walking distance to most points of interest on that end of town. Balcony rooms are great with views of the water and pool. The pool is awesome 3 meters in the deep end. Plenty of places to hang out. Restaurant and small cafe are good and located pool side.

It can be understood that once upon a time this was one of the luxury hotels in Pattaya and the company is also big and experienced company. But now this is already old hotel. Great location! It's right across the street from Terminal 11, and a short walk to the beach if you turn right out of the hotel. There are songthaews (shared taxis) available right outside to take you along Beach Road. It's about 3 km from the Sanctuary of Truth, and you can get there by songthaew. The mattress is too soft and it bounces when I sleep, so I don't sleep well.  The shower temperature is sometimes hot and sometimes cold, and it is difficult to adjust

The hotel was right infront of Pattaya Beach and in between two beach clubs which is awesome, but if you are an early sleeper, then its not advisable.

The Hotel was quiet and a location that required a taxi. But I wanted a place out of the downtown. Building does require a lot of maintanace.

The accommodation is quiet and private, but the air conditioner is a bit loud. But it's okay, or is it a good place for one person?

This hotel has a great overall feel with a high level of privacy and a peaceful atmosphere—it never feels crowded. Once again another enjoyable stay here at the Manhattan, very good service from all, but especially Ying, her temperament makes her perfect for reception duties. Basic amenity available. The staff were nice. The room was fairly clean. The only problem was small roaches keep appearing everyday! My colleague in another room also said that the wardrobe in his room smells really bad, he had to keep it close all the time.

Hotel is old and has some odd architecture. The bathroom doors look like a locker room door. My towel had mold on it. They don’t even give you conditioner or body lotion. I usually stay here when in Pattaya. It's in a quiet alley, rooms are comfy and the lady in reception is excellent. It's very close to Soi Buakhao bar street and there's a gym across the road. I always come again.

The location is quite good, but there's no hairdryer in the room; you have to borrow one from the front desk. Even with the 'please clean' sign hung, you still need to specifically ask at the front desk for housekeeping. Also, the bedsheets had some stains.

They gave us a room on 4th floor (they do not have an elevator) citing that they did not have any available rooms on the lower floors; but from what I saw the property was mostly empty. The property is located near everything. You can walk to most attractions within minutes away or you can used the 10baht transport.

Staff were excellent and friendly. Location is so good. Away from the noise of beach rd but it’s only a 5min walk. Rooms were ok. Shower had no pressure at all. Hot water took forever to come through and when it did, it was warm at best.

Not a bad spot to be up on top of Pattaya, very cool ocean views from a higher vantage point. Lots of Russian tourists if you want to feel closer to home. The rooms were nice and decent for the price as well as the complimentary breakfast.

Be prepared for the fact that the hotel is home to a large number of Russian guests, and they are not always families. Quite often it’s loud groups drinking heavily, partying every other day until morning. The hotel staff shows no intention of addressing this issue. Requests to be moved to another room are simply brushed off with the standard response that there are no available rooms—end of discussion...

Currently staying here on my latest visit. Have been coming here for many years with my Thai partner. Lovely old hotel with clean, recently renovated rooms and great staff who have been here forever. Quiet but close to everything. I don’t book breakfast after some less than good experiences. Most clientele is mature aged, which makes for a better night’s sleep.

The hotel looks nice and is nice in places. It could use some sprucing up. For a 12 day stay in Pattaya it was much more good than bad. The good was the air conditioning worked great, and the housekeeping staff were phenomenal. The bad is: there is an middle aged woman at check-in, who has a bad attitude and really tries to make things more difficult than necessary. Luckily, I didn't see her that often...

I was a solo traveler. This hotel had a kitchen in the room and it was very helpful in order to keep my meals. Also very clean swimming pool.

I like the location even though it is not that far from the beach, however not walking distance. Hotel Breakfast is less than satisfactory. This hotel remains my favourite in Pattaya. The swimming pool is absolutely fabulous given the price range of this accomodation. I use it every day.
