Great stay at the Aiya Great stay at the Aiya. This is a hotel run by a family but it feels professionally run. I appreciated the service: free pickup and was able to check in before noon. The pool is lovely and they include snorkling masks to take to the beach. I would absolutely stay here again.

Have absolutely loved our stay here. All staff were wonderful. Rooms clean and simple with wonderful wooden features. Made our trip very easy and relaxing with a touch of adventure with scuba diving. Small boat, small crowds. Very intimate setting right by the beach. All around quiet and relaxing vibes with nice people.

Hidden gem in Koh Tao! We stayed over NYE and booked last minute when there weren’t many options on the island left. We were worried it might be too isolated, but this was not the case. The beach is beautiful and is never crowded, the view at breakfast is beautiful and the rooms are great. You can also rent a scooter at reception and get around the island easily. Great setup, rooms are mediocre for what you pay. Beach is stunning. Staff speaks very well English and are super friendly. The one and biggest turnoff is that they’re not ashamed to charge you rigorously for everything. Felt overcharged.

Incredibly kind staff and amazing facilities!! They were all so kind, I got very unwell whilst I was here and they were incredibly kind making sure I had everything and more I needed. There was water under the sink because the pipe was leaking. The whole room stank, which was really annoying. The flush kept running a little water, which was a bit annoying. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. It was actually a good room, but that was really annoying. The music in the evening was very loud. But the breakfast that was included was very good. I booked a double bed room, but was given a standard room. The room type did not match the picture. I suspected that the front desk gave me the wrong room. I booked a deluxe garden view room, but there was no view. There was a balcony outside the window, and the noisy street.

We have visited Koh Tao many times and have stayed at Pranee Amata for the last 7 visits as we have found it to be the most convenient hotel for Sarrie beach, as its quieter than the ones that are on the beach but still close to the action, they have their own swimming pool which is lovely, the rooms are cleaned daily, the staff are helpful and friendly, a very good for value hotel.

A dream hotel right on Koh Tao beach, with a beautiful pool! The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, so during our stay, some rooms were under construction (but there was no noise), and the gym wasn't usable. I still recommend this hotel; they also offer a laundry service.
