Upon arrival, the rooms assigned to us did not match the room types we had reserved and paid for. We were informed that the price difference would be refunded, however the amount offered was minimal and did not reflect the additional cost originally paid for the upgraded category. Additional negative points:
Very poor breakfast, with limited variety and quality below expectations considering the price charged.
Bathrooms were not properly cleaned.
Significant noise at night.
Loud staff activity early in the morning, disturbing guests’ rest. Considering the rates charged, the overall experience was clearly below expectations.
We do not recommend this hotel, especially for groups who book specific room categories in advance and expect the service delivered to match what was confirmed and paid for.
Firstly i would like to mention the horrible shower pressure and problems we had with the tempersture of the water we had at our room, sometimes it wasn't working at all - it was really frustrating.
I don't have any problems regarding the staff, they were really helpful and the cleaners were amazing too - however their hard work was kind of overshadowed by the old and scratched up furniture.
The breakfasts were really odd, since half of the selection were dishes typically eaten for lunch or dinner so it was weird.
I really loved the location tho, that was the best part.
Breakfast was included and decent overall. Nothing extraordinary, but they made fresh omelettes and eggy bread, along with watermelon and dragon fruit.
The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which wasn’t very reliable.
The location is also excellent just a 5–10 minute walk to the night market, and the beach is close by too, which made exploring the area really easy.
Location. Location. Location. This hotel is very well positioned. If you stay here take advantage of it by checking out the nearby shops, beaches and tours. Definitely go to the nearby night market for some food, drink and live music.
The reason for this rating is terrible water pressure, so bad in fact you can double the time it takes to wash your hair. The water was either scorching hot or freezing cold. You’ll have to move in and out of the water to avoid getting burnt while adjusting the water temp every 1-2min. We had made a complaint and the engineer whom was there to assist us could not see the problem which makes me think this is a norm within every room.
That being said the price was good considering the location and the breakfast was good enough.

check in was at apple a day resort which is a short walk away so if youre coming from the airport, select apple a day resort as your destination. there is no lift at capuchin hotel so i can imagine it will be a pain if you are staying on the floors above the second.
wifi was stable but you have to keep logging in to use it on your devices.
we informed reception about the remote control not working and the tv’s volume was stuck on the max. the hairdryer was really weak and could not dry my hair at all. nothing was done unfortunately and we could not use the tv.
otherwise, great location and it’s really nearby to numerous eateries, tourist information kiosks and 7-11.
