Smiling and friendly reception staff. Perfect breakfast by the beach. The accommodation could use some updating. The bed linen and towels need replacing (sheets and towels were stained all over)

Filthy pool led to an earinfection The pool were not cleaned for 8 days. The result was an earinfection. It said cleaning of the room every day but only 6 of 8 days.

A beautiful place to stay, lovely rooms, hot showers, very comfortable and clean, run by a very special kind, lovely family, its like a little jungle paradise with the beach 2 mins away, we both loved our stay, thank you, Geri & Eugene xx

This is a tough review because the resort ticked a lot of boxes and was exactly what we had hoped and expected. Unfortunately it also had some drawbacks

The swimming pool was clean and refreshing, and the overall atmosphere of the resort was peaceful and relaxing. The staff were lovely and accommodating

They also offer convenient transfers, for a fee, to and from Krabi Airport and Ao Nang in a very comfortable 9-seater van — perfect for groups. Highly recommended for a quiet and comfortable stay in Koh Lanta!

Firstly the staff are excellent very kind and helpful, the breakfast was better than expected from other reviews and the gardens and limestone cliff backdrop are gorgeous The rooms are dated and need an uplift no telephone no English tv at all and the bed is hard, they need to give pool towels and not just let you use your room towels

The hotel is wonderful, quiet, cozy, with a gorgeous view of the cliff. The bungalow is spacious and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pool is clean and small, and the staff is very friendly

Swimming pool is great, cliff views are out of this world! They clean your rooms daily and it looks pristine when you enter back in the evening. Staff are good in replenishig toileteries

An electric kettle was provided, along with some coffee. The only downside was that no pool/beach towels were provided, and that there were only Thai channels on the TV

I saw multiple species of frogs, lizards, birds, and insects + flying squirrels, and even monkeys, all just in front of my cottage. The cottage itself was clean and comfortable. Good shower and the AC worked well

Check-in was smooth, extending our stay was easy, and everyone who works there is incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the manager. The location is great, with the mountains as a backdrop

We stayed nearest to the frontal row towards road/concierge, a walk-up pool & forest facing. There are other larger villas nearer beachfront restaurant/another pool or facing the beach

A quiet hotel, a bit of from other restaurants and night life. Stayed at a Beach front villa, a good sized room with the most beautiful view of the ocean and sunset

The room had a smell of sewage that came and went, noticed that the rest of the hotel sometimes had that smell. We have experienced that at other hotels in Thailand as well. Very good breakfast (à la carte)

I was also introduced, for the first time, to hermit crabs that would scurry along the beach sand — what a treat. We had the BBQ, which was superb, and really enjoyed the fire show organised by the hotel

Staff: The staff were always super helpful, and it was obvious that they were genuine in their approach. I absolutely loved the energy of the bar lady that makes a mean Piña Colada

We had the pleasure of having drinks with Frederico, the GM, and it was obvious that he has a massive passion and sense of dedication for this property and his staff

One minus is the location edge to the road, larger rooms are further from the road! From 9 am the noise from the road begins, but it is not critical, but the sea is 3 minutes away, I went to the neighboring hotel there is also a pool and cafes at every step

The room is clean, the rooms are in good condition, a good balcony, there are enough lamps and sockets, YouTube works on the TV, the pool is small 200 meters away in another hotel, but with a view of the sea

Overall, everything is great, there were some shortcomings, the tap did not work and there was no light bulb in the lamp. They fixed it during the cleaning of the room, they clean constantly

The family room is very good. Not far from the restaurant, next to the sea. The room is spacious with 2 large beds, a sofa, and a cooking area. Very nice.

You order a cocktail and relax on a sun lounger, you can take nothing, no one will kick you out

Pro: The pool is clean, frequently cleaned and has a kid-friendly part and a deeper - about 2 meters - short part in the middle. The resort has a very reliable taxi service for 200 baht / adult

Con: The pool is a little bit small, seemed bigger from the pictures. But OK as the beach is accessible through the restaurant

it was a very quiet stay. Peaceful and near the beach which is across the road. clean rooms and helpful staff. Pool was very nice.

Some very good restaurant nearby, also their own at the seaside serving with excellent quality. Depends on the location of your room, in the early morning hours monkeys are coming close to the resort to search for food

Staff failed to lock one of our rooms after cleaning which is a minor problem thanks to the camera outside. Expect some stinging sensation in the sea if you are sensitive to it due to tiny jellyfish larvae

AC worked perfectly, beds were comfortable and the location is quiet during the night. Communication through Booking was quick and easy prior to our arrival

The service was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The mattresses were quite hard, which might not suit everyone, but overall it’s a great place and I’d definitely recommend it

The staff is very friendly and helpful , you feel like home!!! Conclusion: The mini house is not "Mini", but "big" in the Service, friendliness and willingness to help, a tip for Ao Nang

Mini House Aonang is highly recommended! The hotel is beautiful, cozy, clean and quiet. The location is great; next door from 7Eleven, close to many restaurants and bar and not far from the Ao Nang beach either

The location is super good, you get 711 super close to you, local Thai food across the street and massage parlors nearby as well. The room is very clean and comfy, with a nice balcony as well

There is a 7-11 on the corner of the main road and a mini big c just across the main road. The owners are friendly and speak good English. There is also a restaurant on site serving good food at reasonable prices

We stayed in the bungalows, which were spacious and well-equipped. There was a clothes drying rack inside and another on the porch—this was the first hotel where we had ample space to dry our clothes

Lunches and dinners range from Thai cuisine to burgers at more than reasonable prices. The location is very convenient, the fine sandy beach with shallow waters is a 5-minute walk away

The air conditioning was strong and kept the room cool. The location was very quiet, allowing us to rest peacefully. The only minor inconvenience was during heavy rain when the metal roof became quite loud

They help us with excursions and transportation. The lunches are excellent, as are the other meals we had at their restaurant. The room is spotless, and we were a maximum of 5 minutes from the beach

The pool was lovely and the accommodation was a short walk from the beach. There were lots of restaurants around. The staff were so friendly.

I had the best time at Khum Laanta. The staff is incredibly welcoming, warm and have a proper eye for each traveller. They are warm and go the extra mile to create a flawless stay

Everything about this place is a 10/10 the ladies at the front are amazing, kind and helpful. The room its self, (I had the stand alone in the corner) was perfect. Storage, kettle, tea and coffee

The hotel was exactly as it seem on the photos. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Cleaned daily with fresh towels and water. A fridge, kettle, tea, coffee is provided in the room. The mattress was quiet hard on the bed

Good value for money hotel, and the breakfasts are excellent. The pool is small, with only 4 sun loungers. However, the kids' pool with one slide seemed quite spacious to me

Nice rooms, thin walls so can hear people . Aircon was strange , although did work . Our appartment wasn’t in the main building so to use restaurant and pool and gym you had to walk to the other building .

Just an amazing little place, tucked away from the main drag, which is only about 10 minutes walk away. It is spotlessly clean, with super-friendly staff, who remain on hand at all times to assist you

Plenty of great restaraunts within easy walking distance but in terms of the beach, it's a bit of a hike. And we typically walk 10+km a day when we travel and found it a bit tiring after a long day

I also tried the fried banana's, also very good! Jungle Kitchen is very close by and we had a standing reservation for 6 nights, it was that good!!

Try the large green ones and the small round white ones, both equally delicious and much better than packaged food from 7-11

The 7-11 across the street is great for morning coffee and there are street vendors selling coconut pancakes outside

We spent here 3nights, we been very satisfied with this hotel , room has access to pool , room was very clean , wifi signal strong. staff was very friendly, we also rent a scooter at reception for 200thb per day .

+ Nice staff, they do everything they can, constantly clean the pool, and bring two bottles of water every day. There are many hotels nearby that are much more expensive

Just off the main road so its very quiet, a hidden gem and i will use this resort again on my trips to Lanta. Restaurants, coffee shops, bars and a great ice cream shop are all within a short walking distance

Aside from the toilet sometimes smelling bad, it's perfect for this price. However, the hotel has two lecherous dogs who only play with women and sleep outside the rooms of single women at night.

Great location at the south of Long Beach. Great views, quiet, birds, monkeys, kitchenette. Hosts Rolf and Phen were super friendly and available on WhatsApp. Close to the beach and numerous restaurants

This was our third stay (or is it our fourth). As before this place suits us down to the ground as they say. Incredibly outfitted kitchen even though our dometics only extending to coffee!

Perched high up, set back from the main road, at the end of the pleasant Long Beach, are a few individual, fully equipped bungalows. Enjoy a pleasant view.

Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, and the hotel's surroundings were lovely. It's also very close to the beach. Just 100 meters to the left of the hotel entrance, you'll find an authentic Thai restaurant

We dined there for two consecutive days, trying different dishes, and everything was delicious. Conveniently, a 7-Eleven is also right next to the restaurant, perfect for picking up any daily essentials

The location is a bit far from Ao Nang beach. So less halal food options to find. Only one restaurant near for halal food (walkable). But the hotel served a very basic and simple halal breakfast option

Grand Superior! The room faced the street and at first we thought it would be noisy. We were also offered to switch rooms

The last day after spending four nights, we were waiting for the taxi for our transfer, the boss walked past us in a swimsuit to go to the toilet and asked us if we were coming 🙁🤪🤣🤣🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Loved my stay here I had the master bedroom and its a large space the place has everything you needed the pool is lovely and clean as it's the whole house I'd would definitely stay here again.

Staff is very friendly they will also arranged you bikes if you want to ride the area. !! The place also have a swimming pool just in case

The place has also a small food shop where you can give meal order in case you don't want to go out to get food. But it's a good option in case don't want to get out. don't think about it just get here!!

Quiet and peaceful small resort in the jungle , if you rent the car or scooter, it’s the best place you choose, because it’s just 4 KM to Beach, and it’s value for money. Highly recommended.

This hotel has a nice backyard with a clean little pool. Small balcony good enough for smoking but not much more

Overall it's fine, but the pool is unusable. They put some kind of chemical in it that severely stings your eyes and any cuts. I'd recommend just looking at the pool.

The owner May is very welcoming, helps with everything, we even took bikes through her when we went to the lighthouse. You can use the pool of the neighboring hotel

Nice big clean rooms. Food can be ordered to the room. Employe sent me pills when my food poisoning was at its peak. Manager was nice and gave me his shoes when mine was stolen. On the downside, my shoes got stolen.

Wonderful hotel managers!!! They can help you with tours, rentals, transportation, and more. Restaurant has some good breakfast options and fruit shakes as well. Wi-Fi is great depending on the room you get

I can't even remember how many. Just Come, albeit a name that doesn't translate well, has lovely big clean rooms with nice bathrooms. Some rooms have a nice wardrobe and they all have a desk and fridge

Although it's on the main road it's pretty quiet. It's on Klong Khong which has a lot of great bars/restaurants to relax at or get a massage

Huge room, has everything you need, quiet secluded place, and everything is nearby: 5 minutes to the sea, even less to the shops

Amazing views over Kantiang Bay, quirky birds nest style room, surrounded by the natives (monkeys) who appeared reasonably friendly ! Breakfast could be improved upon in our opinion, but other than that all good
