Baan Samrarn in Krabi City

Wow! We were pleasantly greeted by the lovely owners, and they couldn't do enough for us all. We felt very welcomed as soon as we arrived and so helpful.

We were booked in for a night but liked it so much we paid to stay another night.

We had 2 rooms at ground level, and they were both clean, tidy, and maintained. The shower and air conditioning were all working and a big fridge in the rooms too. The beds are a little harder than we are used to, but we all slept well, and we had nice fresh linen and soft pillows.

An added bonus of a balcony, too.

The famous 7 eleven is close to the hotel and the town is too. We hired mopeds out for a couple of days, too.

Overall, it is a lovely hotel and we would definitely recommend it to other travellers.

The room was simple but clean had all the comforts we needed; hot water, fridge and AC at a reasonable cost. The owner was fantastic. We needed to change money and weren’t able to pay on arrival, I was going to quickly run to the money exchange place as soon as we arrived but the owner insisted that we didn’t need to worry. We ended up paying the following morning no worries. Even left our bags there while we figured out our next moves. Would really recommend this place.

The staff is really nice. He's willing to help you everything you want. The room was clean and big. The location is okay, 10 mins walk to crab monument which is the krabi downtown. Reasonable price.

Really enjoyed my stay here, free tea, coffee 20baht, n noodle pots and a toaster. Something you never get to see in alot of hotels or hostels, friendly helpful staff will help book, trips, scotters. Very clean and a comfy bed.

Just had 2 week stay in Thailand ... 3 days in Bangkok then moved down to Krabi. Stayed at this very new looking hotel for 9 nights. I had a wonderful room on the top floor overlooking palm trees and quiet area of Krabi. Great AC .. free wifi and very clean room .. clean towels and bedding every day! Location is excellent the long boat and speed boat piers only 8 minute walk away ... shops bars and cafes only 5 minutes away. The owner and his wife are very hard working and friendly. Always smiling and very helpful. The manager does all the bookings for trips ... I went to Rai Lay beach twice, 5 island speedboat tour and Tiger Cave Temple with Emerald Pool and Hot Springs Waterfall ... all AMAZING trips and worth a visit. Highly recommend this hotel.

It is very clean and comfortable and definitely served its purpose when we were stuck in Krabi for the night, because ferries stop at 3pm.
