Monastir, Avenue Mahmoud Bourguiba 🧭 Map
We had an amazing stay at Dar Benti. I cannot praise the hotel and staff enough. The hotel was immaculate and so tastefully decorated, you can see it is the owners pride and joy. Aziz and the team were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and lots of it. With lots of home made goodies. Bedrooms and bathrooms were of a great size with everything needed. It is right in...
Stunning heritage mansion in a traditional Tunisian style with beautiful courtyard, decor and palatial rooms. The rooftop pool is a dream and the hotel serves delicious and ample breakfasts with great gluten free options included.Absolutely fantastic.
Absolutely wonderful experience with the nicest and most attentive staff. The French breakfast was the best I’ve had on my entire trip. So wonderful and such an elegant hotel.
Fabulous spot, wonderful host - incredibly delicious breakfast. The rooftop pool and lounge area is gorgeous - everything looks like it came straight out an interior design magazine. We really can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this spot.
Lovely place - worth a visit! Kind staff and good service, beautiful rooms and a lovely breakfast! Worth a visit and a good place to disconnect. Thank you very much and hope to be back again soon. ..................................................................................
This was a wonderful find, as other reviewers have said, an exceptional dar tucked away in the ancient city. Very comfortable rooms and living space, excellent breakfast and altogether delightful. A few steps away from the bustling city but extremely quiet. Warm welcome and sorry to leave

My friend and I stayed one night. Excellent location for exploring the market and a 20 minute walk to the marina. We had such a warm welcome from Shallah when we arrived and she was very patient with our limited French. The rooms are clean, cosy and beautiful. Showers were hot and powerful! There is a lounge with board games and books. Breakfast was fresh and included crepes, chopped fruit and yoghurt...
We had such a wonderful stay here. The team (including Sushi the cat) are so welcoming and kind. It is also the warmest hotel we have stayed in with central heating in the rooms and exceptionally comfortable beds. Breakfast was superb (including fresh fruit) and we organised a great half day tour via the hotel. Highly recommend Dar Lola and hope to rerun.

Stayed here solo and it was amazing, nice room that had everything I could ask for with a large bed. Samia the host was amazing and super kind, arranged a day tour for me my first day since I arrived late and had some food I could eat in the morning. I speak German and English of which she spoke neither but it worked out. The breakfast is also more than satisfactory and rooftop is nice too. Would recommend

Friendly staff, super tidy establishment and homey vibes all throughout
I didn't use the pool but it looked cool & inviting!
Clean room and the hotel was so beautiful. Staff were so friendly and nice
Great location and place. Breakfast was excellent, tasty, and very thoughtfully planned.
We had a wonderful stay at Dar Souad! The service was wonderful, and breakfast was a highlight. Our room was clean, quiet and relaxing. The downstairs atmosphere was beautiful. Cannot recommend this place enough.
This is a beautiful place to stay, hidden away from the city. It feels like you have been invited to stay in your best friends house, but they provide amazing food. The room i stayed in had a balcony, and I was able to stand outside as the sun set, listening to the call to prayers. There is one thing: you must be able to carry bags up tight stairways. My suitcase was 60 lbs (23 kg) and i needed help...

Tozeur, Route des Touaregs , Tozeur 2200 Tozeur 🧭 Map
Our tree house in the middle of parklike oasis was lovely. The food was excellent, the room was well stocked with amenities, towels and bathrobes, the bed and pillows were soft and the shower worked well. They served us a delicious huge breakfast with a selection of everything one could desire and it was delivered to our room. We ate delicious dinners in a lovely elegant dining room and there were...
This hotel had elevated rooms with decks. Our room was large with a modern bathroom and another back seal bedroom. A lady delivered breakfast with everything on her head which was interesting. Good variety for breakfast. The hotel restaurant was very good. There is a pool area for get together which was inviting. Staff not all speaking english, but they were friendly.
Surrounded by date palms, these cabins on stilts (sometimes called tree-houses) are comfortable and inviting. With all the wood rooms have a lodge-like feel. It would be easy to have an extended stay here. My cabin (#15) included had a small room with bunk beds suitable for children. The room has a kitchenette with plates, glasses utensils, microwave, mini-fridge, kettle and a Nespresso machine...
I made a reservation for a trip to Tozeur Desert. Two nights in a bungalow full of date trees were wonderful. The atmosphere is also comfortable. However, it was a bit cold in the early morning, maybe because of the season.
Relaxing and comfortable. Alot of trees to stay cool and good food. Only problem is that there is not any drawer space, or closet space or any shelf in the shower to put soap or shampoo.
Best place to be in Tozeur. For those who wish to avoid the large hotels with no identity.
This is the right choice.
The wooden bungalow are large enough and confortable (with private bathroom / hot shower).
The palm trees garden is extremely well taken care of.
Nice swimming pool and excellent bar/restaurant
Very clean and professional staff
Just bring warm clothes if you go in winter time as during...

The room was very clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The location was very convenient—close to the market, banks, restaurants, and hospitals—while still being private and quiet.
the staff members are very welcoming and nice
Clean room, lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Great location.
Great hotel with clean and quiet comfortable rooms. Staff were welcoming and helpful (Naser nightshift was great), and the location was convenient. Overall, a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend
Quite hotel
It was quite stay in a small clean hotel. The breakfast was awful and very bad including the service at the restaurant.
Amazing experience. Staff were absolutely amazing and super kind and helpful. Location was AMAZING and honestly all around, experience was amazing. WiFi can sometimes be slow and the water pressure for the shower wasn’t the best but honestly it works just fine. All in all, will recommend esp if you’re going to be out and about

This place is more of a spa than a hotel.
My husband and I stayed there and were disappointed with the setting.
The hotel is outdated and needs a refresh; there's no atmosphere, the hotel is practically deserted.
A major drawback is the restaurant, which offers a very basic and poorly prepared buffet.
A major plus is the bed and pillows; they are very comfortable. The staff is also attentive and...
The hotel isn't bad at all, but it's not well run. The rooms are decent and spacious, and very clean, which is what I liked most.
However, the pool isn't very inviting, even though it's thermal water; it needs to be maintained.
The food is delicious despite the complete absence of cakes and sweets for four days. The quantities are also minimal; if you don't arrive early, you won't find a salad or croissant...

Mezrane, Cheikh Yahia, Route Jilij Ajim 🧭 Map
Stayed in Dar Chick Yahia for 2 nights during a 2 week solo roadtrip around Tunisia.
The house is beautiful, comfortable and an outstanding place to relax and wind down after the day.
Location is on an "isolated" part of the island which adds to the experience. A car is 100% recommended as it is not easily accesible by public transportation.
A nice beach is walking distance to relax in the morning...
Wonderful guest house: clean, comfortable and very family-friendly. Manuel is an exceptional host. We loved our stay and will gladly come back
Basically We wanted to visit Djerba but at the same time staying in those postal card sunsets and peace. This place has it all! with all the amenities and luxury of Tunisian made houses. You wont be disappointed. It is a little piece of paradise. Manuel the Host is so nice and well informed on where to go. Need a car? Need a bike? Spot to visit? To eat? He knows it all way below market price and often...
Manuel and his wife provide some of the best service I have experience through my vast travels. From the very beginning up until the moment we got into the taxi to leave, Manuel made sure we had everything we needed and more. The location is in the middle of nowhere but taxis from and too are so cheap that you really don't need to rent a car (on average we paid 10 dinar (3€) per ride. If you're looking...
A little corner of paradise.
There are rare places out of time. The magnificent little hotel of Dar Chick Yahia is one of them.
An unusual place in this world often lost in mass tourism.
Here everything invites you to rest and relax. A stone's throw from a wild beach, so much so that we often had the impression that it was reserved for us. For swimming and even more so for swimmers, the small bay just...
I found what I was looking for, a wonderful, quiet place, far from mass tourism, here thanks to Manuel and his family you feel the human contact and live a unique experience in a hotel, for many perhaps spartan, but which instead puts you at your own pace. ease. Thanks to all of you, we'll see you soon

Kairouan, Rue El Khadraouine 🧭 Map
Amazing suite with character, style, and comfortable beds. We were greeted with Kairouan Makroudh and tea on the rooftop terrace. Our host was wonderful.
Room was traditional with beds in alcoves. Staff very helpful and gave a tour of the house. Breakfast was traditional and too much to eat it all.
We stayed at this dar for one night. The welcome was very friendly and we were given every assistance whenever we needed anything, even when buying a carpet ;-) What we didn't know beforehand was that this is a listed dar, which means that only limited structural alterations may be made. This is great, as it means you can see and explore the dar in its original form. However, it also meant that the...
Unique but not typical hotel experience
This is a unique stay so important to know what you are getting yourself into. The house is a beautiful old space so think of it as staying in a typical historic Kairouan home. Our room is on the first floor and the shower was separate in a room across the small courtyard. The door does not fully close or lock. Nobody else was in the first floor while we were...
Inside the old walled city centre makes for interesting walks in the historic town centre
Heart & Soul
The host have been more than friendly during our stay. We arrived late and were warmly welcomed. When we had an accident the Lady host was alway at our side, organizing everything and being with us in hospital all the time. This was fabulous and we could feel the warmth of this people. Wonderful welcome from the start. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We felt at home right away. Highly recommended.
The service is good ,tasty food ,the hotel is calm, clean and the vibe is nice . The prices are pretty decent . Definitely would recommend for a getaway vacation .
The hotel has a lot going for it. Staff were generally warm and welcoming, and most seemed to take pride in their work - from catering to housekeeping to the day-to-day running of the hotel.
We booked one room but were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to two rooms connected by an internal door. It felt like a private suite for the price of one. The bathroom was clean, spacious, and modern...
Very clean hotel . Great staff , very friendly people. Good location when you drive , has also spacious free parking. We had olso nice dinner and breakfast there . Our room has nice balcony. Thanks to Mr Dammar for care about us . Recommend it 100%.
We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room was lovely and spacious, with a large balcony. The breakfast was adequate. The only complaint was that one morning we didn’t have hot water but it was always there in the evening. When they finish with the pool construction the hotel will be even better!
A comfortable and clean hotel but definitely room for improvement. No water or coffee in rooms, very limited menu, breakfast is relatively basic, no pool like advertised and wifi doesn't work in some rooms (mine this time). The hotel also smelt - possibly a drain problem especially after a shower. Overall, a nice place but definitely room for improvement for the price.

amazing place!
I would definitely stay again!
Dar El Medina is such a special place — full of history and right in the middle of the Old Medina. My room had that traditional Tunisian style I love, and the rooftop terrace has an incredible view over the city. Breakfast was amazing. It’s not a buffet, but a big sit-down meal that was so good (and so much food) I usually skipped lunch after. The Wi-Fi worked great and the shower had strong water...
Staff was very helpful, they all spoke English very well too which was convenient. The place is very nice, well maintained, and easy to get around/to the Medina market. We had dinner at the roof top restaurant and the food was delicious.
Memorable wonderful stay in a most unique, quiet and safe property in the historic Medina. Perfect for adventurous travelers, not the Marriott crowd.
Incredibly friendly and attentive staff made the stay simply wonderful. Highly recommend having dinner at the rooftop restaurant as well, and coordinate airport transfer with the hotel to avoid airport taxis.
Enjoy the Medina!
Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience—it’s a true gem, originally a historic home that’s been tastefully transformed into a boutique hotel. The design and ambiance are full of charm and artistic detail. Everything was impeccably clean and carefully maintained. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and refined. The team was both professional and attentive, always ready to help. I’d like to...

We did the overnight experience in the desert with them and it was brilliant. Well organised and very accommodating. The food Abdullah made for us in the desert was great!
Do note you’ll be roughing it out if you do this experience, but for 1 night with the stars, sunset & sunrise you’ll see, it’s definitely worth it!
I had a wonderful stay here with the kindest people with my family. People are really kind and friendly to kids here. This place is in the palm plantations away from the busy streets of Douz, but it is within walking distance to the International festival of the Sahara, which was certainly a highlight for us! The owner Farid has a loud voice but a kind heart, so don’t misunderstand him. We would definitely...
The bungalows were very basic. The overall setting lends itself well to cultural immersion and encourages a sense of escape. You couldn't be in a better place to experience the desert. My only problem was the difficulty of getting from the bus station to the hotel at night. They failed to mention that if I wanted to walk (30 minutes), a large part of the way is in complete darkness because there is...
It was agreat and quiet stay with a friendly host!
We immediately felt at home, we had such a heartwarming welcome, soulfood and traditionally live-baked bread. The rooms were very confortable and beautifully decorated, and the yard is arranged and decorated in a very sweet and traditional fashion.
Farid also arranged a 24h desert trip for us, with very friendly and experienced guides who didn't leave any stone unturned.
We will definitely come back...

Sidi Bou Said, 4 Rue Toumi, 2026 Sidi-Bu-Said, Tunis, Tunis 🧭 Map
A highly recommended place, very central and quite clean. Across from this room is another hotel with a pool; don't go there because it costs €21 per person per day. Returning to Le Chambre Verte, it's a highly recommended place.
Too expensive for the overall experience.
Very well located and clean, but it felt like an annex, barely separated from the apartment. Quite noisy from the street on one side and the living room on the other. Quite dark with the front door as the only window in the bedroom, and a slight damp smell. The Wi-Fi was good, and the owner allowed us to check in late.
Too expensive for the experience.
Very nice room, well equiped and with fantastic AC.
The location is nice just off the main street of Sidi bou said. The host family is very kind and helpful! Nicely furnished. Great Wi-Fi. Lovely place on a quieter street to get away from the buzz, with an orange tree outside :)

The stay at the hotel was great. The rooms are clean and the service is excellent. The food is good and really varied. The staff is wonderful, maids, entertainers, receptionists as well as waiters, they are all great. I was especially impressed by the waiters Rami and Nasser, as well as the receptionists Ala and Imed. All recommendations for this hotel!
The animators are the best part of this hotel! They are always there for you, offering lots of games and activities (ping-pong, beach volleyball, darts, yoga, aerobics, etc.), and it's impossible to be bored with them around.
There’s plenty of space and free umbrellas at both the beach and the pool. The food could be better, but it’s not bad (7/10). The room is okay, although the toilet could be cleaner...
Hi
I have a booking here for next month how do I book for transport from the airport to the hotel . Anyone have the hotels contact number ? Thank you it would really be helpful .
Very good hotel animation team the best but they must do something about food menu. Food is not so good for European peoples. Some standards must be made.
I enjoyed the service and the stay here
Food is not bad, cofee is terrible tho
The section I stayed at has wifi connection reching to our bedrooms which is a great thing
But the thing I disliked the most is that the indoor pool was empty and there were no attractions at autumn season
A very nice hotel located in downtown Hamammet. The owners have exquisite taste and the art on display is a proof of this. The service was good and the staff helpful. A very good experience in Tunisia. Would definitely visit again
