Royal Seginus - All Inclusive in Lara

Well I can honestly say I’ve never been as pleased to get home after a holiday as I am after this one! This is a long post but believe me if you’re looking at this hotel you’ll be glad you have read it! If you are considering this holiday choose a different one and believe every bad review you read! I read the reviews before I came and thought, you can’t please everyone, I focused on the good reviews and couldn’t wait for my family holiday! The only positive point of this holiday was spending time with my family as we really did make some lovely memories. FOOD- There was 8 of us staying for 1 week and during that time none of us had a decent meal! There is no set layout to the food so for example the rice wasn’t next to the curry, you had to walk around to see what you could make a meal out of before you chose something often resulting in chips and something! And we aren’t fussy eaters but tripe soup, raw mince, liver and veal really aren’t my thing and these were every evening! And what were more appetising were either under cooked, cold or you had to fight the queue of rude guests who thought it was ok just to walk to the front! There are 2 food stations both have the same food on with a “special” on each, 1 night was kebabs and the queue was to the bottom of the restaurant with 20+ people waiting! So if you did stand and wait the rest of the family had finished their meal before you sat down. Much of the food was cold and the same served lunch and dinner. There were 3 fish sauces that had a thick skin on the top and no1 was eating it, this looked the same on the day we left as the day we arrived! If you have allergies this is not the place for you, I asked for soya milk 1 waiter brought me hot milk and told me it was soya, 1 waiter was really helpful and found me but some waiters just said it wasn’t available, another manage tutted at me and stormed into the kitchen when I said I knew they had it. I don’t know what he gave me but it definitely wasn’t soya milk! I can’t of been the only person in the hotel of that size asking for soya milk! A lot food isn’t labelled so you don’t know what it is and some labels are on the wrong food, tuna pizza labelled as margarita pizza for example! My husband picked a burger on our last night as a last resort and when he opened it up it was grey! Needless to say he didn’t eat it! Another night my daughter was getting chips and the guy cooking them had his hand in the box eating them out of the box she was trying to get them from! Oh and the diet section that’s advertised is boiled chicken, boiled rice and cauliflower every night. The main restaurant is manic, not enough staff or tables, and some of the tables were left in such a state by previous guests it takes a while for the waiters to clear them for you to sit down. Many looked like people had food fights and the food waste was unbelievable! This is the first all inclusive I have been to where so many guests are so rude to the staff and other g
