Class Beach Otel in Marmaris

When we arrived at the hotel we were told by the lady on reception that there had been a “technical difficulty” and the room we had paid extra for wasn’t ready and we would have to move rooms the next day. This meant that we could not unpack our belongings or have anything planned for the following day. The lady offered no form of compensation or even an apology. It wasn’t until I complained the second time the next day (explaining we could not make plans due to having to wait in the hotel to move rooms) that she then said she would provide us with a “complimentary” beach cabana. I was happy with this - until we learnt they were free for anyone to use anyway! What a joke! The room was not ready for 2pm as promised either, so we had to wait an hour longer than promised. We had to cancel our day time plans because of this.

The second room was lovely, had a nice sea view. The bathroom was okay, it floods every time you shower. The air con broke on our third night and the hotel staff didn’t get it fixed until the last night. We had to sleep in 38 degree temperature and I had a massive eczema flare up because of the heat. We couldn’t sleep. None of the staff were particularly friendly or accommodating apart from Alex on reception. He was the only one keen to actually help us. The cleaners were lovely and friendly too.

The food was nice, a bit repetitive but nice. There was no air con in the restaurant.

The beach was nice too, but very rocky so bring flip flops to protect your feet (all other beaches are sandy except this one).

We didn’t go in the pool but it looked clean.

The hotel is very budget. I understand you get what you pay for but it costs nothing to have accommodating, friendly staff and it would also be nice if the air con worked as reflected on the booking site. Would not return here or recommend.

One of the worst hotels i ever stayed. The service the quality of the food and drinks are the worst. The rooms are old and falling a part. Everything is really outdated. The price and the hotel is not compatible and i really don’t suggest to anyone.
