I stayed at the hotel during the New Year 2026 period. The hotel itself was fairly average, and the staff support was not really as helpful as expected. However, the dinner buffet was quite diverse, which I consider a positive point. I hope the hotel can continue improving its service quality to develop further in the future

Totally disappointed with this hotel. Lack of everything.. even the basics. Door lock was faulty (many rooms) .I've never seen a 5star hotel providing paper cups! Never!

The Polat Termal hotel is conveniently located close to Pamukkale and the Necropolis of Hierapolis (well worth a visit). Set in a pine forest it is mostly decorated in dark tones which makes it look quite gloomy. The restaurant is like a canteen, often filled with coachloads and everyone is fending for themselves. The food is mediocre and mostly lukewarm at best. There is a pool, Spa and Thermal pool in the hotel, fed by the natural springs which occur in Pamukkale. Our room was quite dark, desperately in need of refurbishing (see pics). Lights were gloomy and centre ceiling light was missing (just cut off by the wires) TV only had local channels and produced a grainy picture

The hotel is practically falling apart. Leaking in the rooms, unfinished walls, crooked door handles and cero higiene. A lot of maintenance is needed as soon as posible. Floors at the room were not clean, showers were dirty and bed sheets were not clean either.

Our room had too hard beds and too thin walls. But this hotel has not lost its old glory at all. The breakfast and dinner buffets are both magnificent. The thermal pools deliver their promice in the form of the warm murky water.

I had a rest with friends in the beginning of July, the prices are reasonable. The hotel is clean and quiet. The rooms are very cozy and bright, the food is also good. There is a good water park for children. There are outdoor and indoor thermal and heated pools. There is also a Turkish hamam, spa. The staff is very friendly, which is not unimportant. We were satisfied, perhaps this is the best hotel in Karahayit. If you are here, be sure to stay at this hotel😊

This hotel used to be really good, but unfortunately, everything has gone downhill. Things that once made the stay special, like barbecues and live music, are no longer offered.
The food is disgraceful: the same dishes every single day, with no variety or quality. Even the hotel staff – who are still very kind – admit that the service has declined a lot.
Hygiene is also a big issue. The aquapark is not cleaned, and there are no lifeguards. I personally experienced a serious incident when I hit my head against a child who was climbing back up, leaving me with a swollen black eye. Safety is not taken seriously, and this could end very badly, especially for families with children.
It is also noticeable that foreign tourists, especially Russians, receive much more attention, which creates unequal treatment among guests.
When we tried to address our complaints with the sales manager Begüm, she became defensive and aggressive instead of listening to us. This was very unprofessional.
Overall, what was once a great hotel has now become a huge disappointment: poor service, lack of hygiene, repetitive food, and no proper guest care. Definitely not recommended anymore.

Not a great experience at the Polat. Rooms tired and scruffy. Bathroom very poor. Air-conditioning noisey and ineffective. Cold food okay, hot food cold! Bar prices very expensive Sunbeds around the pool covered in dust. Fortunately we only stayed one night. 2 star at best If your tour operator puts this hotel on your itinerary tell them to change it for something better

Worst hotel I've stayed in on our trip around Turkey. Don't be fooled by the lavish reception area. Room was smelly, air con warmed the room., no safe , plug didn't fit in bath, toilet continuously flushed, no shower gel, food cold ( even the food they brought straight from the kitchen) all pool lounges were covered in sand dust , drinks very expensive. Should no way be 5*, maybe 2* at the most!! Rebook somewhere else if you have the chance.
