Reviews
In Turkey, for the same price, I've always found properties that were beautiful and consistent with the price paid. Unfortunately, not here.
I was especially attracted by the indoor spa, but it turned out to be dilapidated and poorly maintained, far from what I'd expected.
I'm truly sorry to write this review, but I think it's fair to be honest: the quality/price ratio isn't adequate.
If I could give one piece of advice to anyone considering this property, it'd be best to avoid it.
Breakfast was simple yet delicious!
The location, room size, and cleanliness were all excellent.
I was especially impressed by how friendly the staff were.
I would especially recommend this hotel for those who are worried about language skills.
Each room also has a hot spring, which is a must-see for Japanese people.
You'll also be amazed by the taste and quantity of the breakfast.
I think it would be a shame to just visit this place as a day trip.
I recommend Karahayit even compared to Pamukkale Village.
If you're thinking of staying in Karahayit, I highly recommend this hotel.
I hope this comment will be helpful to others.
Since it's still winter, there's an outdoor pool, but it won't be open. I was hoping it had a famous hot spring in Pamukkale. This place has a large communal hot spring on the first floor, and each room can use the hot spring water. The red color of the bathtub in the bathroom photo is due to the hot spring water. When you turn on the faucet, 60-degree hot spring water gushes out, filling it up quickly.
The other facilities and service are impeccable. The owner, Osman, and (probably) his sister are charming, yet attentive. They helped me book a hot air balloon and made it affordable. Osman's witty father is also always willing to answer any questions I have. He even gave me a ride to the bus stop on my way to Pamukkale.
The Turkish breakfast is clean and plentiful. I barely managed to finish it after munching on coffee for over an hour, receiving over five refills.
As I mentioned earlier, this isn't Pamukkale, but a village slightly north of it called Karahayt. It was a mistake, but I realized I'd made the right choice after reaching Pamukkale. Pamukkale is so well-known that it's a bit busier and more crowded, while this place is a bit further away, quieter, but still offers a friendly, secluded countryside atmosphere.
After a very comfortable two nights, I checked out and headed to Antalya. Thank you, Osman Family.
The bathroom was mouldy, stained and needs a complete upgrade.
The bed was uncomfortably hard and the balcony door was falling apart and didn’t lock.
The service was ok he ment well, however no consent before asking for the entire run down of all the tourist attractions and costs which we didn’t even want to do in the first place.
The Hamam was dirty dark and needs full restoration.
The massage room also needs full upgrade
I don’t like giving bad reviews but if you want a nice place to stay this is NOT it.
Thanks
Kind and friendly customer service
