Rooms are frequently noted for their cleanliness, spaciousness, and comfort, with some guests praising the sea and mountain views from rooms with balconies. The hotel facilities such as the spa, sauna, hammam, and pool areas receive positive feedback, including appreciation for the full spa service and fitness center. Entertainment programs including live music twice weekly, acrobatics, and dancing shows are appreciated by guests seeking activities beyond swimming and sunbathing. Breakfast and general service aspects like housekeeping and reception are often rated highly, with some guests highlighting the politeness and efficiency of restaurant staff. Food quality is a recurrent negative point: many guests report lukewarm or cold meals, limited variety, repetitive menus, and poor hygiene at snack bars. Several reviews mention issues with room maintenance, including peeling paint, uneven floorboards, and problems with bathroom fixtures and jacuzzi upkeep. The mountain road access is described as challenging and tense, which may be a concern for some travelers. Wi-Fi connectivity is reported as weak in rooms by some guests, and the lighting on outdoor steps is considered insufficient. Some guests felt the hotel does not fully meet five-star luxury standards, citing shortcomings in minibar contents, drink variety, and food service style.

We have just returned from an 11 day vacation. My views are very similiar to John G above, his comments are spot on so i will keep it short. Please bare in mind that im generally a 5 star reviewer, i find it difficult to leave negative reviews. So keeping it simple : Hotel... Beautiful Cleanliness... Perfect. Views... Stunning Turunc... Spot on, very pretty. Transfer... Long but you know that when you book. Staff... Excellent, mostly really attentive especially those atbthe lobby bar and coffee shop. And the the food.... Difficult to know where to start, its pretty dire. It never really changes, you know whats in the containers before you open them as its just the same every night, 11 nights of a tray of spaghetti and 11 nights without a sauce to out on it... Bizzare. Its lukewarm if you are lucky, even finding hot chips is almost impossible unless you are prepare to sit on watch waiting for someone to appear and fry some new ones ( a rarity). Lovely full size roast chickens appear outside at 6 pm and then are left all night to go stone cold, if its not eaten it appears in a 'new' dish the next day, reheated, left to go cool... After day 2 i avoided all meats and ate salad which was lovely but mostly not replenished so you are forced to go down as soon as service starts. Why on earth does the management allow the fish outside to be cooked 2 hours before service, then pilled up and (yet again) left to go cold... Beats me. The snack bar is worse, cold food, lots of flies crawling all over it and then it probably gets sent up to the dining hall for evening meal sitting. Wont be going back which is a real shame as its a stunning hotel... One of the best we have ever stayed in.

Lovely hotel and staff are friendly. We had a side sea view room and had beautiful views of the bay. Hotel is immaculately kept and food was decent.

I Feel the need to write a review about our 2 weeks stay at the Turunc Premium (end Sept 25) especially for anyone who may be looking at this Resort just now. Although some guests seem happy enough, we certainly won’t return, and this is only due to the Food situation and nothing else. I will also briefly comment on some negative things that I have seen in other reviews which we did not find a problem with. We are a retired couple from Scotland (young at Heart and usually last to leave a Party). We have stayed in over 60 All Inclusive Resorts throughout the years (many in Turkey) We always read reviews on varied Sites before booking a holiday, with our interests being cleanliness and although we are not fussy eaters, we do expect a reasonable and varied selection at the Main Restaurants, and at least the food to be at an acceptable temperature and an occasional menu change throughout our stay which is always 2 weeks. When we booked the Turnuc Premium May 25, the majority reviews were good. We do ignore the odd negative reviews that you find about all Resorts, however between May and Sept something must have drastically changed in the food department – for the worse. Here is our review positive & negative – decide for yourself to consider or ignore. Tui booked 2-week holiday 18 Sep – 2 Oct 25 my Wife and I We took the Tui provided Minibus from the Airport which had 2 drop offs at Icmeler then the mountain road to Turunc where we didn’t see anything as it was dark but no problems on route. Its just quite a hike from the Airport (over 2 hrs). Saved £5 on check in at 0300hrs😊. Had to lug our suitcases from the Minibus into Reception while a male member of Staff stood and watched. Was given our room No 3406 with key-cards and told the Lift was at the end of the corridor, so onward with all our luggage into the lift and got off at 3rd floor – up and down 2 corridors but no room 3406, then noticed all rooms on this 3rd floor started with a 2 so back into the Lift to try 4th floor where we eventually found our room, knackered and sweating by this stage. Ok so not really a major problem for us but the first time this has happened. Positive part of this – I saved a Bellboy Tip, but it did leave us thinking what is the rest of this hotel going to be like. We had a Side Seaview room 3406 that was right at the Pool end of the Hotel which had a lovely view of both the mountains and the sea. The room was spacious and clean with separate Toilet, Sink and Shower areas, and the Shower was fine. Small but adequate Balcony for two people to sit. Only issue with the bed was the rough style Cover as a sheet which just fitted and no more. After 3 days we asked if we could get a proper sheet which we did, which was left folded on the bed to fit ourselves – not a problem and the sheet made a big difference. Every day from then the bedding was stripped and left folded on the bed for us to make up, which we did have a laugh about until one day the sheet disappeared

The hotel is lovely, ideal location and clean, the staff all work hard and are friendly but the food is the downfall unless you are eastern European and like lukewarm food at best, the selection of food is not as shown on their website.Whilst we were in the dining room the hotels relations person was there because everyone was complaining about the food and when we spoke to her she said that we are in Turkey, and they do have sausages for the English tourist,a bit insulting considering my wife is vegetarian. The only good thing about the bad food was we ate out every night in some wonderful restaurants in the village.

We had an amazing time staying in Turunc premium hotel as a family of 7. The entertainment was very good the shows were fantastic and we also enjoyed joining in with darts and dancing with the entertainment staff. Iklim who is part of the entertainment staff was amazing, she made our experience extra special we really through enjoyed our time we spent with her.

What a lovely hotel! Granted, it shouldn't be classed as a 5 Star hotel as the Luxury element just isn't quite there. All the same, the room was well appointed, comfortable, spotlessly clean, air-conditioning worked, great shower, mini fridge replenished with water bottles daily, housekeeping daily if you wanted it, soundproofing good, great sea view from balcony. Hotel facilities were excellent, pool cold but refreshing, sunbeds plentiful (mid October so end of season) despite it being still quite busy. The Spa is wonderful - took advantage of their offerings and it was well worth it. The two Thai Ladies were fab. Bars served local wines, beers and spirits (no fizz) which was fine but not 'luxury' offerings. We steered clear of the white/rose and found a nice bar further into Turunç which had a great selection of good wine for a sundowner. Food is plentiful and yes, surprisingly enough of a Turkish style! You just have to pick and choose to your personal taste. No A La Carte option when we were there so that would have made a nice alternative. The staff were superb. Worked tirelessly in the background, always polite, always with a smile. The beach area was nice, pontoon gets busy but you get a different perspective of the place from it. Beach is mixed sand, pebble, stone and the sea was warmer than the pool. One issue that I found was that the lighting on the steps on the outside areas wasn't bright enough and some steps were quite badly lit.

I have stayed at the Turunç Premium Hotel multiple times and this is the first year I've been disappointed. Upon arrival, the reception staff were helpful, but then the bell boy lingered in our room waiting for a tip. He did exactly as his job was described and nothing extra, so we felt no tip was earned. The breakfast options in the main restaurant were very limited, and the available breakfast food was either raw or cold. Raw scrambled eggs, cold eggy bread, and not many options in favour of British guests. Lunch at the snack bar had a good selection, but the salad was starting to look off every day. All the "hot" food options were stone cold. Rice was cold, which is a big food hygiene risk. Waiters were very select with which guests they served so had to demand drinks rather than wait in a queue and ask nicely. Lunch in the main restaurant was good, with all food being hot and fresh, and the same for the evening meals in the main restaurant. We mentioned our complaints to one of the hotel management team, and we were told in his words "not my problem, is kitchen problem" and he walked away. The male staff like to hide in the dark in the female toilets so they can chat, which made my partner very uncomfortable. We informed guest relations of these issues (food and lingering staff), and she apologised about the staff, and informed management. We were told a load of rubbish regarding the food, and she already had a big complaint list from other guests, but nothing improved. The hotel is in a nice location, but is showing signs of age and wear already. Our room had electrical sockets hanging out of the wall, and paint and plaster peeling off the wall in the bathroom. The sink wasn't secured down to the worktop so there was a large amount of dirt and mould underneath it. The floorboards were extremely uneven, and had sharp edges so we had to wear slippers/shoes in the room. The room was cleaned most days which was nice, but I would expect that from a "5 star" hotel with "Premium" in their name. The cleaner did miss our empty shower gel for a day and a half so we had to raise this with the reception desk, but was quickly resolved. In all honesty, I would not stay here again after being so used to how good it was, and seeing how bad it has become. Nearly £3000 for myself and my partner, and we did not feel we got good value for money.

We recently stayed at the Turunç Premium Hotel and had a really lovely week away. The hotel itself is very clean and the staff work extremely hard… always polite, friendly and happy to help! Our room was really spacious with plenty of storage, including deep drawers. There was also a kettle with mugs and a selection of tea, coffee and herbal teas provided. We opted for a side sea view room. While we missed the sunrise each morning, it was lovely to have the sunshine on our balcony later in the day when most others were in the shade. The pool area was nice with plenty of loungers, although if you’re a real sun worshipper you might struggle to find a bed that gets full sun all day unless you go down early to reserve one. A lot of the loungers are under a shaded area, which some people may prefer. We really enjoyed the evening entertainment, especially The Drifters, who were absolutely fantastic! A good mix on the whole… signing, acrobat, dancing shows and Turkish night. I’ve given a 4 star rating instead of 5 due to the food. I had read reviews mentioning that the food could be cold or lukewarm, and I can confirm this is true. It’s disappointing because some of the dishes actually had a lovely flavour. I’m not a fussy eater, and even my husband (who is!) managed to find things he liked, but the temperature issue did let it down. The hotel is in a perfect spot, and we loved our evening walks along the seafront and around Turunç. At the moment, I’d be a little reluctant to recommend it purely because of the food, but if that issue is improved, this hotel would be a fantastic all-round choice.

I don’t like to give low scores but I have not really enjoyed my week here. Positives first, the hotel is kept clean. It has amazing views and both the pool and beach areas are lovely!! The reception staff were also lovely and friendly. The food in this hotel is the worst that I have ever encountered. Most of the time it wasn’t even lukewarm warm. It’s left sitting out in the open for hours with flies crawling all over it. There isn’t much choice or variety either. For me, I found the restaurant staff and pool/beach bar staff unfriendly. As a solo female traveller, I felt intimidated walking into the restaurant and I have never felt that way before. I’d smile and say good morning/afternoon and I was just glared at. It got to the point where I hated going down there. I also have to say that, although I didn’t book one, I stayed in a room with a jacuzzi on the balcony. Great little bonus I thought, until I tried it. The drain smell coming from the thing was so horrendous as it filled and once the jets started the water turned a grotty murky cloudy yellow so they are obvious not being maintained properly. No way was I getting in it.
