Nessa Cave Hotels in Goereme

Don’t book this hotel! It’s a scam.

We were a couple traveling and had booked Nessa Hotel. However, without any prior information, we were shifted to another hotel instead. When we raised objections, nothing was done. The owner told us we could either take a refund and leave or stay with what he was offering. His attitude was quite dismissive and unprofessional.

The manager was polite and tried to help, but there was no staff who could speak English, and they didn’t seem to have a proper service team in place.

It’s a newly built property — the rooms were fine, but most of the place was empty, and the overall vibe wasn’t great.

We decided to overlook all of that, but the next day’s breakfast was a terrible experience. They had extremely limited options — just a few dips, bread, and two types of cheese. This is not what you expect when you're paying a premium price. We couldn’t tolerate the breakfast, so we ended up eating outside on both days.

If you're hoping for a balloon view, this location won’t offer much. Staying in Göreme is a much better option for that.

We might have overlooked the other issues if the hospitality had been better, but overall, it was a deal-breaker for us. Nothing really made us feel welcome — except that the rooms were decent.

I booked through Agoda less than 1 month ago, and had some conversation with the owner. Today I arrive in Cappadocia and find the hotel with the address in Agoda or Google maps, it’s not there. The hotel is gone.
I need to looking for and trying to contact the owner, after more than 20 minutes the owner finally responded. Long story short, they want to move us to other hotel in Uchisar, they said they upgraded the rooms to the luxury hotel. We follow because we dont have any option and the owner is not to try explain clearly. He said he just start move 2 days ago, which is lie.
The hotel room size is very small, and it seems nobody stay there. The staff also rude and pushy, cause he say the boss push him.
I finally made it to have contact with Agoda and they agree to give us full refund.
Then the worst part, the owner reject to drive us back to Goreme, and tell us to take taxi.

So Do not book this hotel if you dont want to ruin your holiday. Uchisar and Gorene is different place and its not walking distance.

The staff at this hotel are extremely rude and disrespectful. Prior to our arrival, we arranged for the hotel transportation to pick us up from the airport. When we arrived, we waited outside of the airport for over an hour, only to find out that the driver left us. When we called the hotel to figure out what was going on, they said it was our fault that we missed the ride and refused to re arrange transportation for us. We ended up over paying for a taxi to take us to the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, we were met by an extremely rude staff person who was hostile with us from the beginning of our encounter with him. We expressed our disappointment with the airport pick up and instead of apologizing to us, he blamed us and told us there was no longer any rooms available at the hotel for us, despite him attempting to check us in. He began yelling and berating us in front of other customers. We felt extremely uncomfortable and no longer safe staying there, so we left and contacted Agoda (the company we booked through) to help us book a different hotel. They said there was nothing they could do on our end because the hotel refused to cancel our reservation, which made absolutely no sense because we were told by the staff person that there was no room for us. We told Agoda to go ahead and just cancel it and that we would book another hotel ourselves, which we did. Now, three days later, we received a notification from our bank that Nessa Cave Hotel charged us when we never even stayed there. This is the most horrific experience I have ever had at any hotel. I would not recommend that anyone stay there.

Nessa Cave is run by a bunch of frauds. They take overbooking on websites and tell the people that it's the websites fault. We had booked prior, when we reached at 11am..we are told that there are no rooms and even so that a family suite never existed in out hotel(as shown online). We were a family of seven with 2 small children and 2 old people. They sent us 2 different hotels Olenda and Helike caves at 1 am with dirty bathrooms and no acs or fans. None of us could sleep. Due to change of location last minute we had so mu ch trouble with the hot air balloon company and we missed those also. our entire Cappadocia experiencewas pathetic and we lost a lot of money on air tickets and travel. these frauds do this as a regular practice and are BLACKLISTED ON *********** and we have reported against them on Agoda as well.
