Very good hotel. The owner enthusiastically introduced his family's 120-year-old hotel and let me choose a room when I checked in. In the end, I chose the sun room. I really like the scenery from the hotel. The rooftop is also very beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable, I regretted not staying a few more nights.

Very nice historical hotel. Family business. The hotel owner Selim Bey is very attentive and tries to help in every way. It is close to the center. If I go to Ürgüp again, we would choose it again. The price is very reasonable. He also guides you and helps you where to go. It is also very nice that he keeps history alive.

It is a place where you will feel comfortable as if you were at home. It was very clean, everywhere smells of history, the employees are friendly, it is also nice to be in a central location. We were very pleased, I definitely recommend it. We have plans to go again and of course it is the same place again👍🏻

I felt like I was staying at my family’s home! The business is run and operated by son and father, they are very kind and easy going. The hotel has relics and antiques, making it feel very authentic. The rooms are kitschy and have a lot of character!! Beautiful views and very quiet. There’s a nice living room and patio to sit and read a book or just relax after a long day of site seeing. The bathroom shower is next to toilet without a separating wall which at first I thought was odd, but i got used to it and realized it’s fine! I saw other room has a separator and with 2 beds, so you’ll need to request this one. Also water ran hot and strong. Beds is on the harder side but for some that’s great and I hear that’s how it is in the hotels in this area. I stayed 6 nights and loved it at Born Hotel! I highly recommend this hotel for budget travelers.

The rooms are clean and we had one with a huge mirror on the ceiling, which was interesting. It is located in a old Ottoman house. Otherwise I don't think that this hotel is worth visiting or the money. The breakfast is average, the stuff is not very welcoming, the room was quite small and with not much space to put our stuff. The bathroom is lacking a shower curtain, but that is not uncommon in this part of the world. If you just need a place to lay your head down then it's fine. Otherwise I am sure you can find a better place near by.

Comfortable friendly slightly quirky hotel well placed to enjoy Urgup and surrounding Cappadocia highlights. The building is beautiful and our room was large and very comfortable (the bathroom was "well worn", but with everything you need, including a posh refurbished shower). The common terrace is lovely, shaded by vine leaves, and there's a charming upstairs sitting area with balcony as well, shared with all guests. Service was a bit reticent but ultimately friendly. The breakfast was generous and varied, parking was easy, and the hotel was excellent value for money. The only downside is that it is located on the main road into Urgup so if you have a room at the front, as we did, then it is a bit noisy and smells a bit of diesel fumes. I am not sure if there are family rooms at the back but I think there are twins and doubles so ask for one of those.

Great place to stay in, as a history lover it felt like living in the past with the added modern features to make this place comfortable for any modern traveller. The family that own it are great hosts, the location is great for people who want a more unique experience of Cappadocia far from the crowds and fake tourism industry. Whilst it's not far from the Göreme centre at all, it should be warned that buses come once every hour.
I highly recommend this place and I will be back
