Spotless room with amazing view

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here for 2 nights, and it couldn't have been better. Beautiful location, friendly service, and incredible rooms. Honestly for the price, you'd be hard-pressed to find better value anywhere in the world for a unique luxury experience.

We were here in low season, just after the first snow, which made for gorgeous scenery. The temps were COLD, below freezing even in daytime. But the room (106) was amazingly comfortable, perfect temperature the whole time, with a heater so quiet we couldn't even hear it. It even had a heated bathroom floor! The room was plenty spacious, the bed was comfortable, and it just felt like every aspect was well-designed.

The restaurant was excellent as well, both for breakfast and dinner. Their Turkish breakfast for two (included in our rate) was huge, and a unique experience in itself. We also booked a sightseeing tour through the hotel concierge, which was amazing. So much cool history in the area, and our guide was great.

The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk (uphill) to Ortahisar Castle and the center of town. The whole town was very quiet at the time we were there (November), but most restaurants and shops were still open. For someone looking for a quiet getaway, I highly recommend this time of year for this region! And I'll highly recommend Tafoni Houses for anyone looking for a unique experience in a beautiful area.

I stayed here for 3 nights and cannot say enough about the kindness of the staff. Every team member o encountered went above and beyond - you really felt the Turkish hospitality. Even the chef came out to check on me each dinner - his food is amazing by the way and the biggest hidden gem in the region. The accommodations are lovely and the area the hotel is located in is quiet. It has a lovely authentic feel that I truly appreciated. Highly recommend - stay here, eat here and enjoy yourself.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. Meals were exceptional, the chef wanted to make sure we were pleased with our meals. Our cave room was interesting enough to take a video. The largest bathroom we have ever had and very modern.

I want to thank you so much for our wonderful stay at your gorgeous Tafoni Cave Hotel this week. I don't know that I have ever stayed at a more beautiful place or in a more beautiful and unusual room. You were so kind to us, arranging our amazing balloon ride (!) and our wonderful tour with Gonul, who knows so much and was so interesting and energetic in her discussions with us. Your chef is spectacular. We loved our dinners and our HUGE and wonderful breakfasts.

It is a wonderful, beautifully designed hotel, that took us into a world so unlike our own. We were so lucky to be there!

It's a beautiful place, staff are friendly and kind, they found us a good deal for activities. Nice ambiance and romantic place, and foods are good too.

This was such a great choice, from the overall vibes of the place to the hospitable and friendly staff everything was spot on. The people there were very helpful and gave us an entire Cappadocia itinerary with lots of great recommendations. The food & the service were top notch, fresh and beautifully presented. The rooms were extremely authentic completing our Cappadocia experience. I'd give this place a 10 out of 10, definitely coming back for sure!👌🏻

My best friend and I were traveling from America and had an amazing stay at Tafoni. The beds were very comfortable and the room was always clean. What set this place apart was the amazing staff that made us feel like we were at a 5 star hotel by following through immediately on any request we had, small or large. The chef, Sadi, was absolutely incredible and makes the best traditional Turkish pizza. The waitress, Fatos, was amazing as well. the manager, Halit, spoke great English and was very attentive to us. Yusuf at the front desk was so kind. I am missing some others but truly every staff member we came into contact with treated us like family and with the utmost care. I would recommend this little gem to anyone coming to Cappadocia who is looking for a less touristy and more authentic Turkish experience. I will definitely be back!
