Excellent hotel, conveniently located near the metro station. The breakfasts are good, and the Italian restaurant on the 21st floor offers a great selection of Italian dishes with an extensive bar menu. Do note that on the top floors, you can feel a draft from the windows during strong winds, so some window adjustments might be needed.

It was our second time at this hotel, and everything was perfect—from the warm welcome and early check-in to the cleanliness. The breakfast was amazing, and we will definitely visit again soon. The hotel is also very conveniently located, close to the metro and various bus lines.

Hotel location is nice and has immediate access to galata port walkway, room overall is very clean, the only downside is the room cleaning service was not very good, the bathroom was not cleaned properly. Other than that the experience was very nice

I booked the room month ago and wrote in the comments that I need room in the higher floor and quite. However, they gave us in the first floor with room terrace behind the neighborhood market which was so noisy

The hotel is located in a very steep downhill road, not easy to walk up and down from. The rooms were neat and comfortable, and the hotel itself is well kept and maintained. The breakfast was good as well. However, the hotel has room for improvement in terms of their service.

Hello, the rooms were wonderful, spotlessly clean, and the reception was very attentive. I stayed on the first floor, even for one night. It was very nice. Good hotel for a short business trip. Although I wasn’t really thrilled with responsiveness and service. Property was clean enough though ,I give them that.

The hotel, room and staff are great! There is something that honestly brothered me.  Anything bought at the hotel bar had a 10% mandatory service charge.  And this 10% does NOT go to the empoles who are there serving, but to the hotel company. Does not seem fair

Room cleaning was yuck two days without mugs and coffee bags. Body shampoo ran out it took two days until they refilled.  the bed was not that comfortable. I really loved the Shangri-La atmosphere; it blended Chinese artistic flair with French creamy elegance. Combined with the view from the window, it felt tranquil and pleasant, yet full of charm. What disappointed me was the poor character of the staff at the front desk who handled check-in. They used cunning Turkish scams on customers they were supposed to serve. My friend and I recently stayed at the Gorrion hotel and we both thoroughly enjoyed our time there. I’d like to shine the light on an employee named Can.
