Hotel Eken Prestige in Bandirma

This is one of the worst hotels we have stayed in. The AC did not work in our room, the lock was busted off of our door (makes you feel secure), it smelled. The staff was great and friendly. But, they failed to run my credit card properly so they contacted me through Hotels.com to say that we left some items and should contact them to get the items back. When I contacted them, they said I needed to pay or the staff would get charged. After some frustrating back and forth, I was finally able to wire them the money. Not the place I would stay in again.

I chose this hotel for a second time due to a business trip, but I regret it. The rooms are filthy. The staff are helpful, but a woman, supposedly one of the hotel's owners, probably under the influence of alcohol, insulted my wife, who wears a headscarf, and me. Afterwards, instead of apologizing, she didn't even want to speak to us. It's easy to yell at us behind our backs; let's see if she'll react the same way when we're face-to-face. Just as I don't interfere with her drinking, she has to respect our religious beliefs. We left the hotel because we didn't want to pay money to people with that mindset. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed one night after a very tiring trip on the third floor. There was a wedding on top of us which lasted until midnight and was extremely noisy, as well as they were keep moving tables and chairs with deafening screeching noise. Impossible to sleep. Reported to the reception a couple of times but no action was taken, even after the wedding finished at midnight, their staff kept moving tables and chairs with screeching noise until 3 am. My 78 year old mum suffered sleeplessness badly and complained to me as to why I had brought her to this hotel. Even our friends next door gone to the above floor to warn their workers about the noise, they wouldn’t listen and bullied him to go away.
The Customer complaints and comfort is not their priority at all. They should get rid of the word “prestige” on their name as there was nothing prestige about it.
Stay away from this hotel if you want to have a good nights sleep, specially on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights due to the weddings held on those nights on the above floor. Also wedding guests had hired a room with full of smoking males, which the smoke was blowing out of their door into the corridors.
Very bed experience :(:(:(
